Bro this guy right here is a genius... I love the fact that he focuses on savings and not buying the latest and greatest even though their tech is very high end but one major, major, major take away for me in this video is that converter box that you can load your own LUT to it... he don't know this but he just saved me THOUSANDS of dollars with our plan to switching all the cameras to the same brand WOW... Now we can allocate that money to upgrading other things!!!! Praise JESUS!!!!!!!!!

Miguel, if you need to, you can modify and color match in your preferred video editing software (we use Adobe Premiere) and export the LUT from there to load onto the box. That's how we accomplished color matching our drum cam to our other cameras which are Blackmagic Pocket Cinema's. Record test footage flat and then color match to a cam's footage you want to match.

@@danielferentzy527 Let the worship pastor be the worship pastor. And it’s very evident that his knowledge is very limited and mostly hearsay. He seems to be the jack of all trades at this church, which is fine, but the case he makes for the way they do things is uncompelling, as he is unable to articulate with any level of confidence, the specific technological advantages of one piece of gear over another. Even an amateur knows that modern digital consoles all operate at 96k. It’s like buzzword he adopted and now uses. When you couple that with his “live room” assertion, the whole 96k discussion goes out the window. You can hardly hear the difference between 44.1 and 96, never mind in a terrible acoustical environment. Tbh, you guys should share a link to Luke Henderson’s video with him. Might learn something.

Hackintosh Computers scare me (and I'm a computer guy). Setting it up correctly requires a super nerd. When you have issues, you won't know if it's a legit software issue or something related to the hacked OS. If you update your OS, you might not be able to boot back up. Every update has to be handled very carefully. If you have issues you need a super nerd to figure them out. You save money but you don't save time.
@silan23352 жыл бұрын
If you have someone in church used to it, then you don't habe much problems. Also nowadays there are many, many good guides online But with M1 the time of Hackintosh will end Over all I hope more and more software will get releases on Linux, since the only reliability of many MacOS-Updates for me has been, that they often generate new problems

I dont know if TC3 gotta read this comment but the Sennheiser EW-D series are pretty sick for touring with the bluetooth scan apps (and if needed, it has better latency than SLX-D). Only complain so far is the AF stage is pretty noisy but could be reduced by lowering the AF Output level. @@aeiplanner appreciate your opinion! We work with those other sounds, too. Keyscapes does a lot more than just a "piano sound". It's incredibly versatile. @aeiplanner2 жыл бұрын
@@andycurtis10 I'm aware. I feel like a lot of people buy Keyscape/Omnisphere with the expectation that they will be a turnkey solution. Not true!!! I found that despite really sexy marketing, you still have to tweak the sounds to get the shape you want/need. This is even more true for live environment. So by the time you're done with tweaking the sound to match the room, you might as well use sounds that come free with the $30 MainStage. All that aside, the most important piece of advice I'd have for you guys is get the sound you want dialed in, effects and all, and auto-sample it right back into MainStage. That way you don't risk any system overloads while running Keyscape along a bunch of other soft instruments.
