What is the Arabic term for appreciative? It doesn't seems proper for Allah SWT to be appreciative because the word implies that Allah SWT yearns for our worship. Such yearning is ungodly. Reciprocal seems fair, as when we do Allah's will, He will reward us accordingly and vice versa.

@@IsaacRizard One of the names God uses to describe Himself is Ash Shakoor, the Most Appreciative. That is to say, He is the One who gives abundantly in response to little. He appreciates the smallest deeds with unlimited appreciation. This doesnt mean that Allah yearns for our worship but rather He is happy with us when we follow the right path. That is why He tells us that when you come crawling to Him He comes to you walking when you walk He runs. Its not that your acceptance of Him reduces or increases HIM because it only benefits your soul but He is appreciative of your effort

Allah never promised perfection in the world for the life of the earth is a struggle for the here after. It's a testing ground where He gives us a chance to redeem ourselves from hell. Allah has perfect knowledge but we are limited in understanding as humans. Sometimes what u see as good is actually bad n wat is bad is actually good. Have the greatest jihad (fight in the cause of Allah) against your own soul. Surat Baqarah Fighting in Allah´s cause is ordained for you, whereas it is disliked by you; and it is possible that you hate a thing which is better for you; and it is possible that you like a thing which is bad for you; and Allah knows, and you do not know. If something you percieve as bad brings you closer to Allah then was it really bad if it led you to fulfilling the purpose of your creation (worship)? "Do people think once they say, “We believe,” that they will be left without being put to the test? We certainly tested those before them. And ˹in this way˺ Allah will clearly distinguish between those who are truthful and those who are liars". Surat Ankabut Allah promises He will test us with disease, hunger, fear poverty n loss. You are being tested with disease, if when you said you believed you meant it and not one of the liars, your disease is the litmus paper for your faith. Question is are u going to ace your test or fall into the cracks to the depth of hell? Allah is most merciful and leads to the right path whom He pleases but He never leads astray except those who are defiantly disobedient. Brother I want to say that I say this with good intentions so please don't take what I say as anything less than that. But please brother understand whatever Allah wills for you is good for you even if you don't realize it. Whatever illness you may be facing or whatever calamities are happening in the world, are all happening due to the wisdom of Allah. I've had to deal with lots of issues in life as well but the ayat that always keeps me going and should for you is...."And you might like something and it is bad for you and you might hate something which is good for you. And Allah knows and you do not know". Having that comfort that everything happens according to the will of my lord and knowing who Allah is gives me peace of mind. That he would not give me something I couldn't bear. That he tests those whom he loves. There have been many times in life where I wanted to give up and then reflected on the last 5-10 years and I say Wallahi I do not wish for it to be changed because everything was perfectly planned out for me I just couldn't see it. Allah has the picture we just have the pixel. If Allah has afflicted you with a disease, then be patient for verily the reward with your lord for being patient is huge. If you complain and go against Allah it is only against your own soul. Allah may be testing you, or saving you from something you have no idea about. Allah has taken the eyesight of Muslims, has allowed people to have terrible diseases, face worldly hardships etc for a purpose for them. It is how you deal with it that will result in your place in the hereafter. Allah also promises to test the believers with wealth, health, among other things in the quran. Please brother do not allow shaitan to deviate you because of issues you may have or issues that the world faces. If this world were meant to be perfect like jannah, then what would the point of jannah be? This world is not jannah nor jahanam. This world is merely a testing ground with many obstacles that will come around. Know your lord and know your deen. Remember you won't know or don't know everything and neither do I or anyone else. Sometimes just trusting Allah by knowing his names and attributes is enough. Allah is the all wise, the all loving, the all knowing so yes everything happens according to his will and wisdom. This is clear in surah al kahf. Dont lose your Iman brother for this dunya that ends on average from 60-80 years old. 60-80 years vs an Eternity. As the brother above said as well we pray for a recovery and may Allah grant you shifah as well. Only with Allah is the cure. I recommend reading lots of quran and making dhikr. Take all the world means you can but know that only Allah cures.
