Thank you for upmixing the electric for the "in a song context" portions! It's helpful to pick out what the effects are really doing rather than getting buried in the mix! 💯

Loved this deep dive into the pedals! Now I understand them so much better. I have the Colosseum, and instantly loved it from the moment I played it. Thanks Emilio for creating these pedals, and putting so much thought into them!

Been a big fan of Emilio's work for a while now. The dual Gladio, Imperium and Colosseum are staples on my board. Great video boys!

I have the same feeling about fuzz. It can sound great on single notes, though still unwieldy, but once you add a second note, it goes haywire. This one sounds really nice.

@AnTIN1 😂😂 Better ingredients. Better pizza. This is what we tried to explain to Emilio and Lorenzo.

I’ve never liked any blues breaker except for this one being able to add dry signal is a game changer. Price is crazyyyy but honestly idgaf is a good pedal.

Ehy thanks so much!! Regarding the price, I know it may seem expensive, but I always strive to find a fair price considering both the features of the pedal and in comparison to other standard pedals like the Protein or Duellist.

Wait a second...when stacking the Coliseum and Imperium, the clean that is allowed to pass through the first pedal would then be overdriven by the second pedal, no? Unless there's a separate cable that sends clean through untouched.

I'm not sure if those amps were the most appropriate to showcase these pedals, specially with the amount of gain they were set up with. In any case, enjoyed Emilio's insight on the pedal's design and purpose.
@worshiptutorials3 ай бұрын
We really wanted to showcase how they behave in the context of what most church/worship do with their setups/rigs, which is why the amps are set a bit hotter than what most people would do for ‘clean’. Thanks for watching!

What was the first song you played in the video? Loved that chorus. And great tone!

I'd like to try a Nero in person. It sounds different in every video I've seen on it.
@cornerstonegear3 ай бұрын
That's most likely due to the different amps used in all the videos.

Great sounding effects, but the irony of using pedals named Coliseum and Nero in praise and worship music is something else
@worshiptutorials3 ай бұрын
Nero means ‘black’ in Italian. Because the pedal is black. It is not named after the Emperor. The Colosseum was named because it was the pedal built for the people. In the same way that the Colosseum was originally built in Rome for the entertainment of the people. Not everything named after something is celebrating the worst of that thing. In the same way that that products named after or around Southern (US) culture are not celebrating slavery.

@@Ris1993 with those names it`s unintentionally reason to worship with this pedals, the christianity won the battle to the roman empire, and left his power at the feets of the church 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥❤🔥

There’s always one 🙄

Brian correctly said it. The colosseum and all the roman symbols are inherently part of our culture as italian, and as an extension, to all our modern western culture, of course there was light and shadows in the roman empire, nonetheless I chose to take the good of it. Nero means "black" in Italian, and "Colosseum" was a name actually chosen by our followers when they voted for the name of the pedal. In any case, there's no intention to celebrate the dark time of christian persecution (it wouldn't make sense since I'm christian), instead, if you visit Rome you would realize how Christianity actually won over persecution... Amazing to see how some churches do worship concerts nearby the colosseum too!!

Do the two amps you’re running here on Tonex require polarity switching? Thanks
@worshiptutorials3 ай бұрын
I’d have to double check, but I don’t think so. I believe these two are in phase. Polarity is such an easy thing to fix that I don’t think about it too often.
