My worst pop of the year is the diamond series Ursula from the little mermaid. They didn't just glitter her hair, clothes and tentacles they glittered HER SKIN TOO! It's a very 'DIY' messy effect, it looks lumpy and thick there's no glaze over the Glitter so it looks rough textured too. Details of the hands are lost and the suckers on her tentacles are lost too. I would have been happy with glitter on the Crown, trident and hair, but not the thick purple skin glitter. It's a messy, chunky eye sore.

I think the major problem with the poor paint jobs and reused sculpts is the Funko is becoming so popular that they are just churning them out now. Like the Captain America and Eleven Pops, one of the major things I'm starting to dislike is that they latch on to a character and make heaps of variations while there are still other characters that could get some love.

I think that X-23 is a dishonorable mention because she doesn't stand and they didn't include a stand wither her, That was just such an oversight and it suks because she was such a cool POP. Seriously, I sat with the Entertainment Earth people at SDCC and we went through five of these and not a single one would stand.

Regarding the Leia & R2-D2 Pops, To be fair as well as being two characters you would normally associate together in certain parts of Episode IV - I think this was a bit of a tribute piece as both actors died with a few months of each other, Kenny Baker died 13th August 2016 and Carrie died 27th December 2016 - so more of an homage and a nod to their importance in the Star Wars universe I think - so from that point of view I think it is a great piece, but I understand your gripes regarding it :)

The rock. A recently released WWE pop. There were two versions, one with the rock having an orange shirt, and the other having a black shirt. What Funko did wrong is that the black shirt version is the chase, and the orange shirt version is the common. What made me bummed out about this is that the chase version is on the box art cover.

I am a big Star Wars collector, but I was really upset with the K-2SO and Saw Guerra pops that came out for one of The cons this year. The Saw was just the same thing but with hair, the K-2SO just had a gun and was in an "action pose" if I didn't have both of the "normal" versions I probably would've picked them up
