They are worst than roaches! You can just keep your house clean and the roaches will find another source of food. But bedbugs font give a damn about how clean you are, they want YOUR BLOOD! I just threw out all my stuff when I moved, EVERYTHING! Just to insure I wouldn't pack NOT ONE with me. They were in my townhouse that I moved in. Looked clean, very nice neighborhood, DIDN'T MATTER! I want the apartment to pay for my STUFF!

its not like they signed up for this.....somebody brought over something that had a stow away in it and they got infested or they caught one by visiting a public place.....its super expensive to have the treatment done to get rid of them. $100 - 250 per room. I have 13 rooms in my house so if i ever catch them here, 1300-3250 to have them removed (i could cover that....and would have to. i couldnt live with them knowing theyre sucking my blood every night when i go to sleep!) most people dont have a disposable 3 grand laying around. 50% of the US is broke and doesnt even have $1,000 saved. these people prolly had to save for awhile to afford to get rid of the bed bugs. but atleast they did get rid of them. Just because they had bed bugs doesnt mean theyre "white trash" like the dumbass above me said. Bed Bugs dont discriminate. My buddy works pest control and he said he's seen them in $50/night hotels and he's seen them in $2,500/night hotels. They dont care if your rich, poor, or white trash. You can get them from going to a restaurant, going to the movies, staying in a fancy hotel, etc. Dont be a naive dipshit like Fred Thompson and talk out the side of your ass about something you have no clue about like he did.....and karma will make sure he catches them at some point in time from a restaurant soon (him or someone close to him) so he can learn that its not only "white trash" that catches bed bugs

We had to the apartments I was living in had a bad outbreak cuz it's an indoor type &they multiply fast and can get everywhere luckily we were one of the few places that didn't get it but we still had to take everything off of our bedding and put our electronics elsewhere take out canned foodwe had to be sprayed with 91% alcohol when we are leaving our facilities before them putting us up in the hotel rooms that they were supposed to give us and it was a nightmare and they can live up to over a year with no food so be very very cautious people keep a bottle of 91% alcohol on hand for those occasions!! 🤪🤬😠😈👹👿👺

PsychedForLife The owners SHOULD be cleaning out all the clutter and throwing out anything they dont need. And use serious organization and stay away from wood if possible. Alot of the videos of bed bugs on youtube are from hoarders or very unclean people but even some of the cleanest houses and people can get bed bugs, ive seen it first hand its horrible. BUT when the houses are cleaned out and things like those dressers, mattresses, garbage, in this video all that cheap should be thrown out or burned. I'm not sure why they dont tell their clients to clean up, maybe the ppl just wont do it and they still kill all the bugs with the heat, or atleast for awhile lol Begbugs are relentless they forever come back unless you know what to do

I got bites on my ankles (I wear jogger scrubs) how can I protect myself from bringing them into my car or home???? I'm honestly so scared. @gotitaila4744 2 жыл бұрын
This is why heat doesn't work. It can be a good first step, crowd control, but let 3 survive and your problem will return. And 3 will survive. Dozens will. Heat is a good first step but you have to add pesticides like CrossFire. Chemical treatment is a necessity.

there is no way you could expose EVERY "cold pocket" to the heat in those rooms there will 100% be some left alive and the infestation will continue for example (in every drawr, folds in cothing, in the basebords, in key\screw holes everything! its impossible without harsh chemicals and a deep clean, and basically throwing everything thats fabric away.

How did they let it get that bad though? We had a infestation when I was younger from a bed we got from a friend but never had that many thats a crazy amount. It did take a while to completely illuminate them as 1 rogue one left can live for ages with no food and then lay eggs as soon as it finds a source of food and it then infestation happens again but we used bug bombs and got rid of them, and I got bitten alot when it was at its worst but didn't have covers and pillows filled with blood spots?! They must have just kept bleeding each night on the same sheets. Gross. As soon as I got my first bitee I went to the doctor as we didnt know about them and was told it was bed bugs so this person must have been covered in itchy bites and a bed full of blood and done nothing about it until this video?

If such a mess it would take so long to get every bug. Everything needs to be bagged and trashed so the room is bare...then the ht I could see working as it should. Bed bugs freak me out...just being overrun by them in such a short time like roaches...still you need to be proactive and keep at it to get rid of them. Never been on a plane nor do I like to go into hotels/motels...I know people can bring them into my home...and that's another reason to that they freak me out.

Yeah I've met people quite a few unfortunately here in Florida that just don't care about having bed bugs. It's really strange. It's very common with hoarders and people who get cluttered easily. Rather than admit their clutter or hoarding is keeping them coming back they just go into a bedbug denial of sorts. Its smart to clean up as much as possible and even throw things out. Like this house for instance I would not treat until they take some time to prep for a treatment that is fool proof. Which unfortunately involves moving things creating as few cold spots as possible but better yet throw stuff out. I threw out about half my belongings. It worked though and it was all junk I wasn't even using anyway.

Like loose things such as change and other loose items. Would it be better for them to cluster things into boxes that way you can heat treat those one at a time after the room is good and hot? I'm looking into getting into the business and appreciate any feedback Thanks Mark

I'm sure its possible, you probably more likely have an egg attach to your shoe. We have never transferred bed bugs so I would say highly unlikely.

Limit who comes into your home, be careful who's home you go into (don't take your purse in and sit it down on fabric/carpet if you carry one), be careful of the businesses you go to- example movie theatres, and don't buy used furniture/clothing/stuffed animals/etc. Those are my rules and I've never had them (and we own a home health business where I go into many homes infested with bed bugs- always keep a change of clothes to swap out of before entering your car/home lol)

Do you not treat the entire house? We had large four foot tall electric heaters that we placed in every room in the house. It would probably take three hours to set the heaters up, run the wiring back to the generator truck but we put a heater in every room in the house to ensure the entire house reached proper temperature.

I have a question, long story short I live in a shitty apartment building, my neighbors let homeless people live with them and they brought bed bugs which have now infested my apartment. They aren't nesting in my bed but they are in the walls, I do see them on my bed but I've checked several times no eggs, no bodies and maitanice said the same thing. Would I still need to throw out my mattress. I just moved into this apartment and just bought the mattress. Also they aren't gonna use heat treatment for me they are gonna spray, which is more effective? I was told my building NEVER had a bed bug problem when I signed the lease but my other neighbor says that's not true they've had it several times. Obviously what they are doing isn't working. They are spraying tomorrow but I kinda have my doubts that it's gonna be really effective.

Tamus's Fiance they need to do a heat treatment, if they are spraying multiple people's homes this means something obviously isnt working. I sprayed my whole house like WW3 and ended up having to move and throw away all my furniture. I still cant sleep at night because of these things hence why im up at 3:16am

Dust EVERYTHING with diatomaceous earth leave for 24 hours then vacuum
@ertfgghhhh
@ertfgghhhh 6 жыл бұрын
Ineeda Fix listen. Imma pro at this. I survived and beat an infestation that was in my hermit sons room and spread. This is what u do.....1. DONT EVER LEAVE. U are the bait. 2. Continue to sleep in ur bed 3. Get white sheet linen. 4. Dont spray. I made that mistake.spraying causes them to scatter out of room. Makes it worse 5. Lay diatomaceous earth in baseboards over entire apt. This will cause them to move to ceiling/wall. This makes it eadier to kill them. When u kill them on site, they release a danger phemone. They may start to try to live within ur blankets on the bed. Thats why u need white linen and blankets so u can see them 6. Get mattress and boxspring covers from amazon. They cost approx 20$ for each one. 7.Remove all pics from wall. Place in black plastic bags. Close tightly and put in ur car for the entire day. This will kill the bugs. Dont rehang till danger is over.8.sprinkle DE under carpet and on ur entire carpet for FIVE days. Vacuum . and relay it. Continue until the problem is over.9. If u have them all over bedroom, rewash on hot and dry on high heat all of ur clothes and bag them up. Place them somewhere else. Not in apartment. Keep several outfits to wear in apartment till this is over 10. Use alcohol to spray on live ones u see. 11. CLEAN ALL CLUTTER 12. Blow DE in light switches, door knobs, cable outlets, and wall sockets. 13.AND FINALLY open all drawers and closets. Have a fan running. And run a kerosene heater at full capacity. Run it for 8-12 hrs 14. Do heat treatment to every room. Repeat after two weeks due to babies being hatched and bb that had escaped or lived in the walls that come out of the walls to live U can beat them. Bb die at 120 degrees. And their behavior is very predictable. They arent as tough as roaches BUT they are master hiders. Heat and DE is ur best bet. It is easier to fight them during the summer

Could there be bedbugs outside, too? Do they have to treat the yard? Will they come back into the house from the yard?
@GlobalPestSolutionsSoCal
@GlobalPestSolutionsSoCal 7 жыл бұрын
It is possible to have bed bugs outside, but typically no. They like to stay near the host. Maybe if there is a dog or cat bringing them back and forth or they have been found in bird nests. In all the years we have been doing this we have never had to treat a lawn for bed bugs. Thanks for the question :)
@JohnSmith-dt5kf
@JohnSmith-dt5kf 7 жыл бұрын
What he meant to say was that bird bugs were found in the bird nest not bed bugs ...bird bugs or "swallow bugs " are very similar to a bed bug as bat bugs are also....make sure you don't spend the money before you know what the problem is people...we have alot of companies in town treating for bird bugs and bat bugs and calling them bed bugs. Failing and then you still have to spend the money to get bats out of the attic or to get the nest out from around the exterior....always ask your pest guy to identify before starting to ensure quality work

Global Pest Solutions Okay. Thank you. I learned a lot from your video. I don't know how people can live like this. I have to put new sheets on my bed every 2 weeks and vacuum my apt every week. These person's home is outrageous!! How gross!! I am a clean freak, and that is so nasty!! I would be afraid that they might transmit some kind of disease to me if they bit me! I know that you don't need to be concerned about taking bedbugs home, but are you all concerned about contact with the blood spatter? What if the people have hepatitis or HIV?

I know a family that had this problem. Left a garment out to dry over night and in the morning it was covered in eggs and a couple live ones. If you encounter this problem, spray outdoors yourself or have an exterminator soray for "spiders" outside. One slipped that their company uses the same poison for bedbugs as they do spiders. The difference was there was a more tgorough application for the bed bug treatment, and it cost a lot more. Pay attention to wooded corners. Give animals bug treatsment to help avoid bugs coming back inside. That's what helped them since indoor only treatment was not working.

Perhaps the reason a skeptic would say heat is ineffective, is it would make the bed bugs go further into the walls where it is cooler, what say you?
@GlobalPestSolutionsSoCal
@GlobalPestSolutionsSoCal 5 жыл бұрын
Thanks for the question , the heat tends to bring them out and get them active , and by doing so it exposes them, by that time it's to late and the heat does it's job.
