AMEN! If you're basing your relationship on only negative things from your past than you have a serious mental problem. I myself had a very rough time for many years, and yes it was hard for me to change my attitude and mentality, but at the end I stopped living on the negative and went for the positive. And have a guess: I'm still with my girl and this for almost 20 years. Yeah sure, we still have our problems as a couple, specially me, but I learned how to deal with those problems without causing a fight.
