humidity would not be put back into the Stone Age from a solar storm. Sure it would knock out any electronic equipment, and that would be a lot of things that we use nowadays with modern technology, but there are a ton of things that we still would know how to make without using modern technology. If anything it might set us back a few hundred years but Stone Age is much older than that.

The moon being relative 2 the core of Earth. The farther it gets, the more active the core gets. Throw in solar storms & would the alignment of the planet's act like an extention cord. The solar system has been round sagA* 20+ times. Maybe the alignment of the planet's is at a greater distance from any greater impending danger, I like 2 think. Maybe Pluto holds the very alignment of the planet's at the time of super nova's?

even so a solar storm would never put us back to the Stone Age. The worst solar storm might put us back a few hundred years, to before we were so heavily reliant on electronics in fact there was one in the 1800s that knocked out telegraphs, but at that time that's pretty much it. Now we've got all sorts of man-made satellites and pretty much everything on the planet has some sort of computer running it. I mean really, just 30 years ago cordless telephones were barely a thing and they generally couldn't reach further than the end of your own yard, and now we carry little computers around in our hands which are also phones, and they have much much more arrange, pretty much anywhere there's a tower, but a massive solar storm could easily knock a lot of that stuff out. In fact this last one did cause some issues for some people.
