I am going through a quite bad low point too rn and I feel completely empty and lifeless, but this video made me hope for a better future and perhaps yes something much better will show up! I apologize for my broken English lol.

I went through the lowest point in my life pretty much all of last year, and I thought it was never gonna end. But I'm happy to say that it did, and I'm feeling a lot better about myself and have made measurable progress on my goals. But enough about me, my point is that no matter how bad things may seem, it will get better. Maybe not tomorrow, maybe not a month from now, but eventually, it will get better. Stay strong, and keep fighting. It's not easy, but I know you can do it. :)

You sound just fine, your vocab is great. Don't worry about that. I hope and believe your life will get better. Young? That is a blessing too. You have lots of possibilities. Look into careers, almost any place that has benefits, 401k, dental and health insurance. If you can get a place that has a union would great. Post office, hospital - not a doctor - but maybe you can further ur education to do that too! I believe in you! The bus drivers here in Denver are banking $65 an hour. They start out at $25 but they get raises Every year. Just look up every position that doesn't pay the lowest wage. Hell, Kingsoopers pays $21 an hour. Don't think small fries. Think bigger for yourself. Google positions u think u might wanna do. I have seen people who went to college for 4 years plus who are earning $15 an hour. Don't do That.

Thank you. Really needed to hear that. I've been having problems with my UG studies and seeing all my other mates having a job and living a satisfying life, here I am still unemployed and living off of my parents. Almost every night I have thoughts about ending it all but something keeps my hopes high. I was never a believer but recently I've been into spirituality and I truly belive God has a plan. I'll try my best to win at this game called life.

Therefore I say to you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink; nor about your body, what you will put on. Is not life more than food and the body more than clothing? Look at the birds of the air, for they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of more value than they? Which of you by worrying can add one cubit to his stature? “So why do you worry about clothing? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow: they neither toil nor spin; and yet I say to you that even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these. Now if God so clothes the grass of the field, which today is, and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, will He not much more clothe you, O you of little faith? 'Therefore do not worry, saying, 'What shall we eat?' or 'What shall we drink?' or 'What shall we wear?' For after all these things the Gentiles seek. For your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you. Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about its own things. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble. Matthew 6:25

Thank you. I have a similar story but not the same. I moved house to a place with a lot smaller schools. I applied to every school but one which had a 1 star rating. None of them excepted me and I was out of school for 2 months till I got offered a place at the 1 star school. I was crushed i have my GCSE coming up and I knew I was going to have no education there. My parents saved me. They paid 20k for me to go to private school and on the day I was meant to go to the 1 star school they drove me to the private school. I cried so hard I am forever grateful

Milad - you’re absolutely correct. I was not even allowed to apply to my dream school because it was out - of - state and there was no way we could afford the tuition. I ended up in a small, two - year community college and then wanted to transfer to another school which would have been my second dream - school. I was also rejected from there. But I was able to get into a prestigious four - year college, earn a degree I ended up doing nothing with… and now I’m a nurse. Long way around, but there it is.

Gods plan is far greater than we can understand, personally I’ve been trying to work towards a job that I’ve wanted to do since I was in high school. The last two years I went through the hiring process and both times I was rejected. Shortly after getting rejected God put people In my life right in front of me that I needed to be praying for. There’s a reason God keeps you where you are even when it doesn’t make sense and when the way in front of you is opening up so painfully slow. It will make sense soon. Pray that He keeps you on the path that’s meant for you, God bless

Let me just say this, to Milad, and everyone else watching this: Even if you're the smartest "next Nikola Tesla", do not apply for big Ivy League schools like Harvard (I mean unless they pay you to go to them, which literally none of them would do). Despite what every high school teacher says, jobs don't really care too much about what college you go to. What matters more is if you get consistently good grades, have extracurriculars, and demonstrate good workplace skills, leadership, and a desire to pursue your career. Adding onto that, if you go off to graduate school and get a Masters/Specialists/PhD there, jobs will look at where you went to graduate school, not your undergraduate experience. Even if you go to some place like Yale, where you get some graduate school degree from matters a lot more in the long run. Plus, there's also a lot of toxic supremacy and "intellectualism" in Ivy League schools. If you don't have a 1600 SAT, 36 ACT, 4.0 GPA, and an essay 10 pages longer than what they required, you're not getting in. And people in the modern era with common sense know that all four of those qualifications don't actually matter in the long run. (And even then, Ivy League schools have other stupid, old-fashioned expectations for "what an Ivy League student" should be). What ultimately matters in the college experience is obtaining the knowledge and skills necessary to perform in your career field, and you can acquire those skills from almost every college in the world. It truly doesn't matter what college you go to, as long as you can demonstrate and apply knowledge gained from your degree. Signed, a psychology major.

I have a similar story, but instead of working my ass off, I flunked out year one of collage, went down a dark path for about 2 years, got better, then applied for an electrical apprenticeship. I love my current job so I’m glad I didn’t care that much in college. I would have hated doing the job I was going to school for.

It's just frustrating. Need to step back maybe, & assess the situation from a bigger picture. Just need to rest from all the drama. It isn't "the worst day of your life", it's "the worst day of your life *so far"* If you spend your whole life thinking about that "one bad day", you'll be blindsided by another/newer bad day, and the cycle will repeat.

the moment you said you did extrac activites i knew you werent going to be accepted. top colleges/scholarships dont care how many extra curricular activities you did. they just see it as someone who still hasnt found what they want to do in life and wont bother with those people. usually people who get accepted have good grades ofc, but in their essays they write about their passion and what they want to do. that way they can show they have a clear path on what career they want to do

I remember the worst day of my life. It was February 26th, 2013. On February 26th, 2013, Daddy had a stroke while he was at work. I was a 16-year-old autistic girl walking home from school. When I got home, I didn't see Mommy anywhere. I just found Daddy's youngest sister, my aunt Becky, sitting on the sofa. She was comforting my youngest brother Jeremiah, who was only 4 years old. Jeremiah was crying. I was so confused and asked Becky why she was at my house. She said, "Daddy had a stroke." I started crying, so Becky comforted me. My other little brother Isaiah, who was gonna be turning 7 years old the next day, was very upset. He wanted to celebrate his 7th birthday with Daddy, but couldn't. The next day, on Isaiah's 7th birthday, I went to school. A bunch of teachers came up to me and told me, "Hannah, I heard about what happened to your dad. I'm so sorry." I even told the guidance counselor about it. She said, "I heard. Your uncle told me everything." When I got home, I found Isaiah crying. I asked him why he was so upset on his birthday. He said, "I wanted to celebrate my 7th birthday with Dad, but I couldn't. Why did he have to have that stupid stroke?" Now, Daddy lives in the local nursing home, where he's in good hands. He just lies in bed, eats, drinks water, iced tea, and orange soda, and watches television. He sometimes goes into the dining room. He needs a wheelchair to get around. The story of Daddy's stroke. On February 26th, 2013, Daddy was at work. He had to give a big presentation. When his friends found out that he didn't come to the conference room, they just assumed that he was just nervous. When they heard a lady screaming, they all came rushing to his office cubicle. They found Daddy slumped over in his chair. Daddy's boss called 911. The police, firefighters, and paramedics, took him to the nearest hospital. When Daddy was a little boy, he was brought up on junk food, desserts, meat, and very little fruit and vegetables. Growing up, he kept up his unhealthy diet. Because of that, he had a heart attack at only 37 years old. My little brothers and I all grew up watching Daddy go to the hospital. When I was 5 years old, Daddy had to get his chest and arm cut open. We go to visit him in the local nursing home every chance we get. When I was in high school, people always asked me, "How's your dad?" The same people also asked my little brothers the same question. The only person who goes to school now is Jeremiah. He's 15 years old and in high school now. He will be 16 years old on September 17th. Whenever he goes to school, people always ask him, "How's your dad?" Last year, I was asleep in my bed in the morning. I was woken up by Mommy yelling. Annoyed, I went downstairs to see what was going on. I went into Daddy's room, which was the indoor porch. He was lying in his bed. His clothes and bed were all covered in poop. Mommy said, "Hannah, get out of your dad's room! It smells strongly of poop!" I couldn't smell anything. Just then, I sat on the sofa next to my youngest brother Jeremiah in the living room. I asked him how his high school life was going. He said that it was going great. Then Mommy came into the living room and said, "Hannah, I had to throw away that teddy bear you got for your dad. He got poop all over it, so I had to throw it away." His blanket was covered in pee, so Mommy had to wash it. Just then, Mommy called 911. The police and paramedics came. Mommy talked to a policeman and told him all about Daddy's stroke. Daddy was taken to the hospital. When I was walking to Wawa, I texted everyone on Daddy's side of the family. I told them that Daddy was taken to the hospital.

I'll never get the American system of having "dream schools". Pretty much everywhere else, if you get the qualification, you get the qualification. It doesn't matter WHERE you get it, in the UK you can go to the fanciest place in London or some dumpster fire in Grimsby and nobody ever cares about WHERE you got your qualifications and grades, just that you got them.

At the end of the day a degree is just a paper doesn’t matter if the degree is from Yale or some regular college. People just care too much for the title or prestige and end up in debt when you could go to a college near your family and graduate with zero debt etc
