Interestingly, the last few "crafts" where they are repairing things with food, is not too far off from some really good methods of filling voids. baking soda and superglue can form a rock hard glob that can be sanded flush and will last. you can also use sawdust and ash for similar effects with different colors as the result.

Those started because someone made a parody-video of one of those refurbishing/fixing videos. The parody used ramen noodles to fix furniture, but it was a joke. 5 minute crafts now presenting it as a real solution while also faking the results is just stupid. But I hope no one takes 5mc serious anyway, most of their "hacks" don't work and some can even cause harm to people or destroy property

It is what an epoxy resin is made for. Superglue is terrible for filling voids, because it shrinks a lot when solidifying. But yeah, the whole idea of proper filler and proper glue for the material is working. For wood, for example, sawdust and wood glue.

@@voidseeker4394 Agreed. CA (super) glue is also brittle and doesn't age well. If you want to bond something instantly but don't care if the bond lasts, ca might be the right glue. Otherwise go for a 2-pt epoxy, or one of a dozen other adhesive solutions.
