Yep, tastes like soap for me. Apparently it is the aldehydes in it that are affecting the perception of the taste certain people with a genetic mutation of a particular olfactory gene can smell the aldehydes in the coriander where most people cannot. Aldehydes are commonly used fragrances in soap hence why we think it tastes like soap.
