Great video! I bought the colourpop wine palette and was extremely disappointed. In the pictures, I thought it was much more red, so receiving 9 maroons/browns was a bummer. My first time watching your videos, I'll definitely come back!

I'm a bit late to this party, however: TY for being my ultimate deciding factor on that KVD 'edge' palette. Even at the amazing pricepoint I was going to snap it up for? It just... wasn't 'speaking' to me (and I 💜 her lippies and liquid liners!) Glad I saw this + kinda went w/intuition...looked..blah! The Huda 'Naughty' has that gloss lid topper you're talking about- it's more for the aesthetic and it IS really fun but it has to speak to you, personally, not my FAV, but it's pretty decent. Love the list, have to agree! 🤘🏼

Hey! I’m new here:) I bought the kid dud pallete (I’m a longtime kvd product consumer) I love the blues in this palette and a few duo chromesz the packaging is 100% recyclable, that’s why it looks different. You can pop out the shadow part and recycle the carton. I’m not over the top on the pallete but those blues are diamonds in the rough!!!

I don’t have any of these, although the Too Faced Pumpkin Spice is in the mail so... oops! My least favourite palette of 2020 is the Beauty Bay Book of Spells. I saw lots of positive reviews and then bought it in the sale for £7.50 so I’m not too badly out of pocket, but for me it has a gorgeous colour story but lacks pigment. I’ve only really used it once and was so disappointed I put it away. I’m going to give it another shot today...

So I agree with most of your duds except for the two face pumpkin palette! That’s one of my favorite palettes Because when I use it the colors show up and they are so vibrant and they last. They’re so beautiful. Maybe you just got a bad one. I know Several other people who also loved that palette as well. But it could just be that the formula just doesn’t work for your skin. I mean I have friends that swear by certain palettes that they are the best and I’ve tried them and I think that they suck!! So make up works differently on everybody. It’s a good thing the market is so saturated with different brands and formulas so we all have the option to find something that works for us.

I tried two Morphe palettes this year and returned both. The pastel one wouldn't show up on my pale skin, even with white primer. The Jacklyn Hill II shadows were so powdery it made a mess all over my counter (and my poor dog standing on the floor below). The entire return process with Morphe was infuriating. I was actually angry over eyeshadow

Ok both of those Violet Voss palettes were in Boxycharm, which I've decided is where bad makeup goes to die, and are NOTHING like all the other Violet Voss palettes I own. I hope you give her formula another try

Pat Mcgrath midnight sun. I wish for my 1st Pat palette that I didn't choose this one as I was not impressed at all. The colors didn't last on my eyes. Creased and faded bad even with glitter glue. My flower beauty jungle lights palette seems to be a dupe for the shimmers and it's so much better. I'm just so disappointed that I chose this one. A ton of money for a ton of disappointment.

I know everyone raves about PM but I do NOT get on with that formula. I have some of the same issues you said plus the "special shades" are not that special especially for the price. I tried to like PM but after 2 of the 6 pans, the 2 in the cheap plastic cases, some singles and a quad of the special shades I'm done. There are plenty of shadows I like much better (and that are cheaper)

Aww man I really want the Wine Not palette. It looks at pretty. I love burgundy tones though 😂. I also have Huda Naughty Nudes and like it though so maybe I'll like Wine Not. Or I could dupe Wine Not with my Naughty Nudes mattes. 😂 😂 😂. I ignore the monstrosity shade. The other colors are nice.

Hmmm? I wonder if you got a dud? My pumpkin spice palette works really well and still smells good! I literally just went to smell it! But yeah my VV pressed glitters are looking very sketchy and funky🤨🤢and I've only had em about 6 months! But I have a couple other VV palettes that are bomb! Js😘

I like these videos, i also hated the Pumpkin Spice palette, I bought it for the colour story, but the quality wasn’t that good. I also hated NARS Extreme effects palette, the shadows did not work for me at all. I was very disappointed. I agree with you about Violet Voss, their formula does not work for me.

I'm also mad at myself for buying kvd palette, her old formula when it was kat was bomb that white vegan toy is a joke, so so bad also I regret every makeup revolution palette I hate them all. I love violet voss formula I do have that one you showed but have never used it but all the others are really good, maybe you got a dud or bought it from boxycharm pop up? I notice sometimes boxycharm pop ups seem different then original idk why

I bought mine from Boxy pop up. I like it for the price I paid but now you make me wonder about if the palette is legit if it's a different formula. I heard that there is some sort of issue there.

@@sureiseeyou with that particular palette I had just bought from sephora sale then right after it came out on boxycharm so I ordered one there for cheaper too for a gift for a friend and I looked at both side by side they looked alike but I didn't use either to know but I think with boxycharm they might just be sitting in warehouses longer thats probably why they have those huge pop up sales but its probably same formula

There's 2 palettes I bought in 2020 in a true "KZbin made me buy it" moment and that's Odens Eye Solmane and Nabla Wild Berry. They are not bad in any way but I just haven't been that excited about them...😏

The palette that I felt really didn’t live up to my expectations was the Poison Garden palette from Nabla (I’m not sure when it was released but was new to my collection this year). I looooove almost everything Nabla puts out but I really felt like that one missed the mark for me. Great list!!

@@MsQuinnFace I just found some of the shadows hard to work with, and the blue just wanted to fade to a kind of gray on me no matter how I finessed it and it just kind of ruined the experience with it. The Secret palette is one of my all time favorites, though, in contrast, and the Cuties are all fantastic so I was surprised too.
