In Spain you can't return products at Sephora if you've opened them so it always amazes me how youtubers say all the time that they will return things that they've used several times. My sister had to argue with the employees because her Huda mini palette came broken and they didn't want to change it for another one

Jaundice is the one that turns you yellow, ….or maybe scurvy too lol fun fact: being yellow toned/ sallow was often called being " choleric" which refers to the idea that you had too much Yellow Bile and often meant you were moody and disagreeable ( it's a Greek theory about ' The four humours' by ancient philosopher Galen and then used a lot in medieval Europe as both a medical thing ( you had too much blood so you had to be leeched ) and also for story telling ( you could tell a character was hot-headed if they were ruddy and red toned known as ' sanguine' or moody and sad if they were greyish from having too much black bile -' Melancholic' ) Sorry for the tangent, but I needed to let my nerdiness out, it's always what I think about when I look at foundation undertones.

Also hated the IT cosmetics BYE BYE Pores illuminating powder. My worst product that I tried last year was the Becca Hydra-Mist loose powder with the water feel. That felt great for about a minute then it actually broke down the makeup underneath shortly after. Very expensive and crazy.

I actually really like the Covergirl concealer as much as shape tape, they’re not identical but I like the coverage and it blends into my skin really easily! I found the loreal one more drying... it’s so interesting how concealers can work so differently on people 🤔

I LOVE the it cosmetics bye bye pores illumination! It’s a setting powder, not a finishing powder. It does not go on white, just like their original bye bye pores powder, when you apply a normal amount it’s translucent. It sets amazingly well, and does add a glow. Out of the million powders I own, it’s the only one with major Pan:)) it’s interesting how different tastes, skin types, etc can be:)

About the cerave micellar water - I have had good experience with it. It does remove my make up but I don't really use full coverage foundation or just a lot of makeup to begin with. But for anybody considering it - if you have skin irritation stay away from it. It will burn and it will cause a lot of redness if you have issues with your skin at the moment.

I have combo and textured skin too. I hated the ABH foundation with a beauty blender and tried different primers. Looked terrible. But I applied it with a real techniques brush (I don't know which one! It's slightly domed and kinda dense) and it's perfect for me now. I use the tatcha primer. It's the only thing I tried out of the stuff you mentioned.

Hi Emily! One cushion foundation that I really like is the one with black packaging from April Skin, you can find it on Yesstyle. My skin is pretty dehydrated and what I liked about the foundation was that it didn't emphasize dry patches. I also like to use cushion foundations with a damp beauty blender, I fell the finish is more natural and less makeup-like.

I used to love la roche Posey too because I have sensitive skin. I was kinda shocked when I bought a skin calming facial moisturiser by them and it was heavily fragranced. I thought they had always been sensitive skin friendly. :(

BIODERMA does the same thing. They target a certain product toward very sensitive/atopic skin but put fragrance in it. How is that supposed to work well?
@nunpho5 жыл бұрын
@@sonyadanailova9537 I hate when brands promote themselves like that, now I'm just obsessed with ingredients lists to make sure there isn't perfume, denatured alcohol, SLS or bismuth oxychloride in things since they really irritate my skin.

I love everything about the Missha BB cream BUT the color range is pretty limited. The darkest shade was too light and ashy for me, I chose it because it looks good on many Indian skin tones because there was no one else doing swatches on that shade.

The new L'Oreal concealer broke me out horribly. I like the Covergirl concealer for blemishes and redness because it has really great coverage and blends beautifully, but I prefer the new Maybelline concealer for undereyes (which doesn't work well for my blemishes or discolouration, so there you go).

This micellar water from la Roche posay is my all time favourite! I am using it for years. It removes all my makeup without irritating my eyes and my sensitive oily skin ! i think i bought - and straight away threw in the bin after one try - ca. 7 concealer. forgot what they all were, one of them was the benefit boiing in a pot. i mean this getting ridiculous, almost every concealer creases on me more than it should. the only working ones are nars in a pot and nyx flesh coloured eye primer in a pot which i use as dark circle concealer.

The “new” Rimmel 25 hr lasting foundation. I have combination skin and 3hrs after applying it i look like a massive grease ball and its separated on my chin on and around the nose. Anastasia Beverly Hills liquid lipstick in pure Hollywood was by far the biggest disappointment of 2019!! It was the driest liquid lipstick EVER!! I can stand dryness when it comes to matte lipsticks because my lips are not dry but after a couple of hours I was feeling that my lips were about to fall off my face!!! To make matters worse after three hours of wear it crumbled so badly down my chin and I looked like a haute mess!!! So disappointing!!! I for sure won’t buy another color and that one went to the trash!!!and it was not cheap!!! In my opinion high end companies should be more careful when it comes to put a product in the market because it is quite unacceptable to charge 20€ or more something that doesn’t work at all!!!!

I have dry/dehydrated skin and the ABH luminous foundation was awful on me too. It was a light coverage that wouldn’t build without looking cakey and it wasn’t luminous. It was pretty matte and splotchy and clung to all my dry patches. I’d say that was the worst foundation I tried last year. That and the physicians formula organic serum foundation. That was pretty bad too.

OMG I thought the ABH foundation was just me. It looked so good in store (with that store lighting 😂) but it's this weird yellowy orange shade out of store and by the time I used it after buying it, it was too late to take it back so I'm stuck with it. The formula looks good but I'm confused about how the heck that shade is neutral? I've checked other shades out and for some reason all the neutral shades lean orange 🥴 I think the most disappointing product of 2019 for me is ColourPop's mascara. They are so dry and crumbly and then shed all over my face all day. It's a shame because I love colorful mascara but their formula is such a huge miss.
