What tribe built the best shelter using only the enviroment, who made quick fires with no aid, who scavanged and hunted the most food. The game is the game, and the vast majority watches for the game, but general survival should be an important aspect that is often overlooked, dispite being in the very name of the show.

I think David picking Garret isn't necessarily a bad move on its own. It's the way he explained it and made it so obvious that he's coming for Garret what made it so bad. I wouldn't put David's move of picking Garrett anywhere near the top. He had noway of knowing what was going to happen or how personal Garrett was gonna take it. Possibly he thought they were gonna make the 3 compete in some sort of challenge. If so, it would have been a great move and he'd have been on your last video. What he needed to do was squash the beef with Garrett immediately. I'd argue the overplay came from the rest of the tribe voting him out. How'd that work out for them? They got decimated lol. Recency bias is strong here. I actually think Jelenski's only real bad move was telling his tribe what happened on the adventure. The sweat challenge was given to them to wear them out. He knew his limits and knew they weren't going to finish it. He conserved their energy. Maria was already confident he was lying at the bluffing challenge. Not terrible to make friends and have the reputation of being a bad liar. Thats someone people want to keep around. You could argue the worst move of the episode was from his tribe voting him out. He was their 2nd strongest person on a tribe of 6. Just like with David, they got decimated for doing so. Zane imo made the worst move. Wendy Jo's was bad but she was at least trying to stick around. People basically told Zane they were going to vote for him if he didn't change his mind and he still told them to. He had already accomplished what he needed to when they were begging him to change his mind. I think Michelle Chase from Gabon should be on here for ignoring everyone aside from Kenny. She was far and away the strongest woman on their tribe. She was so bad that they kept an old woman who was fascinated with poop over her 💀

I don't even think that throwing in the towel in that sweat versus savvy challenge was a bad idea. It looked IMPOSSIBLE. You just have to be able to sell a quit to your tribe. "There was no chance we were finishing it so we cut our losses"-way better than how Jelinsky tried to justify his quits
@alanbarker47608 ай бұрын
I still think they should have wrapped their buffs around the base of the pots. Then you can realistically use one hand to cover the hole in the bottom and carry a lot more water successfully. But yeah, aside from using a little savvy with your sweat, that was definitely the least winnable version of sweat to date.

Wouldnt Wendy Jo's reason for vote out, basically describe like 10 other first boots like Deb from Australia, Peter from Marquesas, and so on? I feel like a lot of people have been voted out first for a combination of 1. older and/or weaker, 2. being weird and 3. not talking strategy, at least from what we saw on the show
@aperson222228 ай бұрын
I know it's conventional wisdom that no one who survived a single tribal should be considered for worst of all time when so many others haven't. However, I have to call Bhanu the worst there's ever been. His failure was so incredibly pathetic and hard to watch, and he consistently made the same missteps over and over. I think someone who sucks so badly that he or she gets voted out right away despite the presence of more obvious targets is not necessarily as bad as someone who sucks, is saved by the presence of more obvious targets, and fails to learn to stop sucking despite multiple opportunities to do so.

I think David Samson's move to select Garrett would have been fine if he framed it better. Had he said something like "Jeff, I think you're tricking us and making our weakest do a challenge, so I'm selecting Garrett because he's our strongest," his move would have been fine. Instead, he said that he was playing for day 39 on day 1, which did nothing besides putting a target on his own back. He even could have just told Garrett that he anticipated the twist and chose him because he wanted to work with him, because he'd probably find an idol. Literally anything other than what he actually said.
