Finally got a new podcast to add to the rotation! Great work guys the video/audio quality is excellent; Engaging conversations and funny banter. But most importantly is the passion for the subject matter. This is a great start to the podcast. I can't wait to see what else is in-store!

Obviously The Crow was going to be an AWFUL reimagining. I will never understand the blind praise im hearing for Romulus. Everyone is praising Romulus for exact same issues that they constantly trash Prometheus and Covenant. The characters are flat and forgettable. The writing for them is nonexistent most of the time. The acting is completely dispassionate... or talentless, however you want to look at it. The fan service is completely inappropriate for a serious Alien film. Not even Resurrection stooped so low as to directly quote better, better movies in the franchise. As a fan, the "Get away from her you b****" line was completely insulting. How or why would they try to cheapen Ripleys glorious moment in Aliens?? This is how i rank the franchise: Aliens Alien Prometheus Alien Covenant Alien Resurrection AVP Alien Romulus Alien 3 AVP: Requiem

I saw Romulus with low expectations and was pleasantly surprised with how much I enjoyed my time watching it. It’s a fun movie! Not a great piece of art, but a crowd pleasing callback to its series roots. The loudest complaints with Prometheus and Covenant were not its flat characters but its focus on philosophy over fun. I thought Cailee Spaeny and David Jonsson did solid work, the rest of the cast I agree was forgettable. I don’t think this movie is receiving blind praise. I think it’s taking a step in the direction most fans want. Most likely won’t be topping anyone’s favorite Alien movie though.
