Hi everyone! It's time for another Rainbow Repaint Series video, in this video I create monochromatic dolls using the color that you guys picked! Today we are doing a doll repaint using only green art supplies!

Beautiful doll! ❤️ Sad about the footage, tho. It’s probably too late but for the future (unless you already checked), sometimes if you delete files on the computer they might be in the recycling bin/trash can. In fact the best way to remove data would be either to rewrite it or reformat it. So if you did neither of those things, sometimes the info can be recovered right away. Source - I’ve done it before myself and found them in there.

I love green, an I love how she turned out! I wish I could get yarn wefting right, they end up being a half inch after the separation and brushing. I don't know if it's the yarn I'm useing or poor technique, probably both.

I've found that you really need to use 100% synthetic fiber yarn, and it is so hard to find! Even this green one was a blend with a little bit of wool in it.

Honestly the situation with the lost footage is really awful. I'm a working makeup artist and I imagined the situation where I ask my partner to help me with cleaning my makeup bags and they just throw all the shit in the garbage. I'm afraid I would have no partner and their parents would have no child after that kind of situation honestly ._. But I'm glad you pulled through))

Some feedback: I would have loved to hear more about your thoughts regarding the leaf designs! And just all of the design elements, I'm a sucker for that kind of stuff. On an unrelated note, I tried so hard to place your accent before looking up your location. And I should have guessed that you were a fellow northerner, haha. Ok, so everyone says to use longer pieces of yarn for longer hair. However, I found that yarn fibers have a standard length and the more you brush it the shorter it will get, regardless of how long it was to begin with. I have seen a tutorial for getting longer pieces of yarn through a different process, however I can't help but wonder if I'm doing something wrong that makes me not end up with longer hair in the end through this method. If I brush it less, it will not be soft and shiny, even if I straighten it. Is there a hidden trick to it that nobody knows about?

I'm just as clueless as you when it comes to yarn hair. I only use it when I want short hair. But I do think getting yarn that is 100% acrylic really makes a difference. I do know Dolllynx had discovered some new method from someone, but I didn't pay that much attention to it, because I use nylon if I want long hair.

@JadeBlackWolf Acrylic yarn hair can be hard to work with and haircuts and styling (especially on such a small scale) are probably even harder. I do agree that the face and body are amazing, though. Definitely one of my favorite face-ups!
