You may know these boats are balanced a little bow heavy and with the holding tank that far forward it will add to it. Don't be shy about adding weight aft like storage of anything heavy, save the bow storage for light items. Like spare alternator would be best under aft bed vs v-berth.

Thanks, that's good to know. I kind of knew that, but appreciate the reminder as there's a LOT going on right now and those things are easily overlooked. The storage in the v-berth is pretty small anyways, so storage up there will most likely be life jackets and a few small items!

Thanks seems like it’s going to work. Wish we had another 3” of headroom in this one.

I am amazed with the size of that tank and how far forward it runs. Did you see a label on it that stated capacity? Or did you calculate capacity? I am curious what it works out to.
@aboardladyhawk Жыл бұрын
There were no labels and as luck would have it, we forgot to calculate the capacity. We had every intention to do that while it was out, but with all the jobs going on... we forgot! We are curious too, so we may get creative and figure out a way to calculate that.

@@aboardladyhawk It looked to be in the 25 gallon range given the length. I'll be curious what you come up with. If you plan to cruise the San Juans you may find you build itineraries around the free pump out on Stuart Island🙂

Hi I have the same boat how did you get your holding tank out it look like a bear of a job
@aboardladyhawk9 ай бұрын
It was a bear of a job. The trick to squeezing it out of there was trimming back the forward bulkhead. Flush with the bottom of the floor that gave me an additional 2 inches or so for making the corner when trying to lift it out. Pulled it toward the engine and sucked it in as I squeezed it up toward the engine compartment hatch. Not a super fun task ha
