Sorry, the fenty concealer is amazing on my oily/combo skin. Really easy to sheer out if you work with the product quickly. I prefer to use it as both concealer and sheer it out for light foundation coverage. If you have dry and very dry skin, I will say that Fenty complexion products likely aren't for you.

To be honest Fenty is mainly for people with oily skin, like the complexion products are usually catered that way. I think it’s because Rihanna has an oily skin type and she made a brand that could work for her and others that have the same skin type… I think this is why people with different skin types usually don’t like the complexion products.

Thank you, Fenty is literally a lifesaver for me! I find alot of brands cater to dryer skin/dewy makeup looks which I don't prefer as i have oily skin. Her soft matte foundation is the best I've ever had so far and the shade range is amazing. I also find that not alot of brands have shades for olive undertones, which she does, and I found my closest match with her. Living in a hot area her products also withstand them good. I love her brand so much because it works for everyone especially for us poc.

As somebody who has really oily skin, and it’s also really pale, the lavender brightening powder is the best thing for me. It’s the only one that I like that doesn’t make me look so orange and also keeps my oil down. But since I just found out, you have normal to dry skin, I totally understand why it doesn’t work for you!

But what powder did you use to be orange or yellow ? @@SocialExperiment232 I just don’t find most of them to be of good quality. I got the brow pencil twice, neither worked. The lipstick that came in the skinny package, fell out upon opening. The original concealer is the worst concealer I’ve used ever, and I’m a beauty content creator ( no worries, I’m not commenting from my creators channel, I don’t do that), so I’ve tried a lot of concealers. The setting powder horribly dry. I love the skin tint, and bright fix eye brighter. That perfume, hate it with passion! I recently picked up the new iconic velvet lipsticks, I’m crossing my fingers I’ll like them. Oh yeah, the glosses are okay. And I’m not a big fan of the gimmicky packaging she default too sometimes. In my opinion, the brand’s popularity is heavily based on Rihanna’s name.

Ive tried almost all of the fenty line and after trying HUNDREDS of foundations (its my job) i can definitely say that the complexion products are not good. Foundation, concealer, powder, primer, setting spray you can have SO much better even at a cheaper price. I live for the shade range and its amazing. Bronzer, highlighter and all the rest is BOMB AF.

I've bought quite a few Fenty beauty and Fenty skin products because of all the reviews and hype, I was so disappointed by all the products I purchased, it really sucks because Fenty is pricey. I'm a dry skin girl too so maybe the products work better for oily/combo/normal skin. Not gonna buy any more Fenty going forward aside from the lip gloss.

As a person with acne prone skin: I like the matte foundation but not when I have pimples or any skin texture going on. It really emphasizes texture so only people with good skin will look good with it. The concealer was too dry even though I have oily skin... from the matchsticks I only use one to contour and the rest is not good, doesn't blend well either. I don't want to sit there and warm up a matchstick after paying that much money for it. I got an eyeshadow palette (was on sale) and the shades may be buildable (which doesn't bother me). The full price is shameless, I have cheaper palettes with creamier and buttery eyeshadows. Compared to those my Fenty ones are chalk. The primers are ok, not necessary. Eyeliner was the worst, the tip dried out fast I was very upset because none of my drugstore eyeliners have performed this poorly. Tried a sample of the tinted moisturizer, did not impress me. Lipsticks are okay, too dry for me these days. The hydrating lipsticks are good though, I loved mine for my everyday makeup. The only products I can 100% recommend are the highlighters, setting powder, and lip glosses!

ive been with ulta for 6 months and before working there i had very high expectations and held fenty to a higher standard simply because of riri (luv her sm) but anyways i soon found out other than her glosses MAYBE a highlighter rarely a matchstick we rrly don’t sell a whole lot of it. i also do shade matches and guests always want to be shade matched with her line bc of the expansive shade range, but still find difficulty finding the perfect match/shade/undertones😅😬guests are usually displeased with the way the skin products emphasize texture and pores and 9/10 opt to other brands

I haven’t used the Fenty concealer under my eyes (only their eye brightened) but I love using it to cover any acne spots/scaring. Does a great job with that. I can see how the powder can be drying for dry skin but it works wonders for my oily skin. It’s one of my favorites to keep my makeup in place all day. Last summer got the Fenty OG Matte foundation - my FIRST EVER FOUNDATION Mate it looked crusty at and my pores were 👁👄👁. I used primer but honestly it jus looked bad on anything texture and dries out too! But the shade range is good 👍

I’ve been rebuying the concealer for the past 5 years haha! I have really oily acne prone skin and I find it’s one of the only concealers that covers my spots up without a ton of product and doesn’t make me break out. However I’m not using it as an under eye concealer so I don’t have that problem with creasing. Crazy how different skin types are gonna have different products that work for them!

I haaaate the HEAT lipglosses… but then I hate any of the “plumping” lip products that are cooling or tingling. I’m a fan of the concealer and the glow enhancer. I have oily skin and these products aren’t adding additional oiliness. (Key with the concealer is… less is more.)

I think Fenty caters a lot of its products to oily skin bc Rihanna has very oily skin. I’m grateful for the products bc i have a hard time finding quality that caters to my oily face.

her old shadows are SO good like the desert whatever palette was amazing but that was back when she didn’t put a ton of focus on other products so unfortunately she’s stopped focusing on shadows and now focuses on other stufd

It works for some no makeup works for all skin types find what works for you! I love the Fenty foundation the product works for me nothing is for everyone!

Fenty products cater to oily skin more. I have super dry skin and the only products that I use from them is the bronzer and lip glosses. Everything else doesn’t really do any good for me

For the powder, try using it on a brush and sweep away the excess. I wouldn't recommend baking or packing it on (same goes for any powder in my opinion).

Actually that powder is an* absolute bomb if you live in tropical countries such as Brazil. In my hometown it’s always hot… hot like 32°C typically, and in the hottest days it can reach up to 40°C, so believe me, you may have dry and flaky skin and barely use makeup, your face will look oily and sweaty after 4 hours. It’s a must-have if you’re going to visit or if you live and work at summery countries.

add the new eyeliner to😩, im a hardcore eyeliner fan and i found it to be not pigmented enough, and the tip was too long. I always keep accidentally making marks where they’re not supposed to go.

I bought one small purple eyeshadow palette from Fenty…and there was almost no pigment to the shadows. I couldn’t believe it.

It would probably look better with a primer, but who wants to pay for eyeshadows that don't perform well without one😅
