Just read an article on one of the caravan and camping websites about utes, particularly Nissans, that are LITERALLY breaking in half because they've put all that stupid camping or tradie boxes on. They are NOT rated for the loads. The camping gear with the boxes full of slide out drawers full of cooking gear etc or the boxes the tradies have set up for their equipment are literally either snapping in half or just bending the subframe. In the US it seems most people that have dash cams are tired of being brake checked by the usual suspects, scam/fraudsters, B-holes( these people never got an A in their lives ) and drunk/doped up types. After the first brake check they let nature take it's true course and ram them. Cam footage shows they did not give you enough room to safely brake so their insurance must pay. Once the insurance goes up to 10 or 12 K per year, their will be much less brake checks and hopefully smarter drivers.
