I had my makeup done professionally yesterday for a wedding and I couldn't help lolling to myself imagining I'm Judy - the force the woman applied makeup with was insane, especially on my lower lash line, she nipped me with eyelash curlers and told me to stop watering, used lipstick from the tube, it was rough man 😂

Happy Sunday, Robert! I love a good reaction video and this one has given me whole new respect for Judy. When the “artist” opened up that contour palette I actually cringed and clutched all the pearls because that just screamed bacteria. If I were Judy I think I would’ve been pissed about paying $70 for the finished product because everything looked so harsh on her and did not bring out her beauty, but only covered it. I had my makeup done for my best friends wedding and she made me 2 shades darker than my skin-tone. As well as put my lashes on a little side ways so they were poking me. Her foundation looked like it turned a bit orange, so yeah 😮 if I paid a makeup artist for a look and they were that heavy handed I’d ask politely the first time to please lighten up on the touch and if it happened again, I’d demand a refund and wash my face asap because that bronzer/contour palette was awfully unhygienic 😢 I feel for Judy D and she’s way braver than I am 🥰✨

Q tips leave cotton behind. I use cotton swabs for makeup removal sometimes though haha. I'll clean up my brows or clean my cut crease with them. But I'm using them on myself.

I use Qtips to get eye gunk or makeup build up in the corner of the eye, so I don’t have to use my hands. Or if I’m cleaning something like that has little crevices (computer, clocks, etc.) I’ll use a Qtip. BUT CLEANING INSIDE THE EAR!? It’s not for that there’s so many other uses for it. If it’s cleaning the ear like the squiggly parts especially if you have piercings, that makes sense, but inside the ear is just a fat no. Also blending eye makeup with qtips looks so uncomfortable, this is why small brushes exist

Tbh, I use q tips to neaten up lines when doing eye shadow, occasionally having block colours does work for certain looks. I am not great at make up and often use Roberts how to video as a guide

Regarding the q-tips I use them for 2 things art(to blur/smudge) or to remove nail polish. Outside of that I don’t use them for anything. I do know a few people that use them to apply small amounts of like ointment to injuries too. However I can’t think of any other uses beyond those for q-tips. If you can let me know please.

My mom sold Avon when I was small but the thing was her only customers were family and a couple neighbors. Essentially, she made enough that my sister and I could get whatever we wanted (as long as we kept grades and chores etc). However, I have one aunt, who made a lot of money selling Avon. For well over a decade. She even had some of her daughters friends selling for her. It was a little embarrassing being the Avon lady's neice. She is a very loud person. Was a little pushy, too.
