Brian Herrin my Favorite rods are insane for the money. I got the Flair rod and it has been nothing but money. Almost puts my Falcon Cara to shame and it was over $100 less than the Cara.

Brian Herrin. NRX rods are not even good. The E6X rods are pretty cool but I'm sorry man, paying $400+ for a rod is ridiculous. I was basically cringing the entire time I bought my Falcon Cara and I only spent $215. I only bought it because I love Falcon rods. But the few times I've used an NRX I had no clue why they retailed for the price they did.

Wish you stuck with Shimano reels. I love the favorite rods but there reels are absolute shit. You can get them for $40 on amazon. The rods however are amazing and feel better in my hands than rods 3x the price. I have a defender with a Shimano curado and it's the nicest baitcast combo I've ever used

Just realized I watched a Favorite infomercial...and kind of liked it. I'll never buy their rods or reels, but I have to admit Jon is getting better and better every video. There's a few videos on line of reel techs tearing down these favorite reels alongside other much cheaper brands, Kastking, Shishamo etc. and the parts are all inter changeable ie the same reels with different exteriors.

He knows what he's saying. A lot of people fish Med Heavy moderate action jerkbait rods and a lot of people fish Med extra fast jerkbait rods. I prefer a faster tip on a medium powered rod for jerkbaits and smaller topwaters.

The key to having the proper action on a jerkbait rod is having a faster tip....try getting the proper action with a flemsy rod...it doesn't work! I prefer a med/hvy fast tip. Seems to give it the right action

I picked up a Big Sexy a couple months ago and love it, it is literally my "Favorite" rod. Just picked up a White Bird baitcaster as well and that too is awesome. Plus the guys over there are really cool and will answer any questions you have. Now if they could just more of their baitcasters in I'd be all set.
