In China, we call these old trains "Grandpa Trains" because they are very old. Although they are still being manufactured, most of them are exported to the third world. Some are kept on the Chinese railways to facilitate the people in the villages along the lines. They are very slow, usually only half the speed of the EMU (about 130 km/h to 180 km/h).

@@robbrand922 Your image of Africa is still stuck in the last century. More than half of the countries and regions in Africa have entered primary industry and advanced agriculture (for example, Kenya received agricultural technology donated by China and is now a food exporting country, and Ethiopia received agricultural technology donated by China. Railway technology and road and bridge technology are now the leading countries in international road and bridge technology. Engineers from the construction company in my village went there). Only some war-torn areas in Africa and a few backward areas are in the third world. My eldest brother was sent to Africa to build a car line. He returned to China not long after the production line was completed (before he went there, the power there had been upgraded to modern industrial power by the State Grid Corporation of China. All villages were powered by Huawei's 4G communication network, and the power equipment was all international standards for China's ultra-high voltage technology and equipment).

In that you do road travel majorly. So exploring part is very less. So first explore it completely and the give conclusions.

6:12 Totally agree with what you say. Mao tsetung (whose beautiful pic you will find on yuan notes) was the architect of cultural Revolution under that he had the concept of systematic destruction of "four olds" - The Four Olds being 'old ideas', 'old culture', 'old customs', and 'old habits'.The Cultural Revolution was also characterized by violence and chaos across Chinese society & Estimates of the death toll vary widely, typically ranging from 1-2 million. A large number of intellectuals were banished to rural china & imprisoned including the current dictator Xi Jinping's father. But CCP is so scared of admitting past mistakes that Mao is still very much on Yuan notes & a big beautiful picture of him is also in Tiananmen square (That one was the first to be defaced during 1989 Tiananmen Square pro democracy student uprising). 21:00 That's CCP keeping close watch of the population (who goes where and when)- there was a time during one child policy CCP used to track the menstrual cycles of women through nurses to ensure they were not pregnant! Hopefully they have now eased up on that tracking!

As a Chinese, you don't understand Mao Zedong's intention of launching the Cultural Revolution. The original intention of the Cultural Revolution was good, but it was later used by some people. For thousands of years, the right to speak in China has been in the hands of the upper class, literati, and landlords, just like India today. Mao Zedong's original intention was to defeat these people, otherwise China, even if it is a newly established country, will slowly go back to the old path of China for thousands of years. This is one of the reasons why Mao Zedong's reform of China was successful, because India has not experienced this kind of reform, so this is one of the reasons why India is still backward today.

@@animalworldtv9220 LOL replace emperors ad nobility with a new "royalty" class of Long March communist prince & princelings since the general population is anyway used to "following orders" Original intention indeed - he just engineered the whole thing to take out people opposing him which is ever so easy in a communist banana republic like China. Same system used by "great leader" Xi to wipe out term limits so he can be "emperor for life" - get used to a declining economy & aging population & forget ever beating USA you will be lucky if you can stay ahead of India for too long!

Apparently India badly needs a Mao Tsetung, otherwise India will forever be today's India, or the India of 50 years ago for that matter.

@@vocvoc9895 CCP Bot you be a slave to thugs like Mao (Xi Jinpeng is the new wine in the old bottle). I think it is built into Chinese psyche by years of getting ruled over by CCP to be servile and follow like sheep whoever is the "emperor" sad but true. Hope one day your people taste freedom from this corrupt system!
