Yes, please recommend some Japanese literature. I'm fascinated by Japanese culture and would love to read works from there. Currently I finished reading The Bell jar by Silvya Plath and now I'm on Men without women by Murakami. Next books I have in line are Sputnix Superstar by Murakami and the last queen by Chitra Banarjee Divakaruni.😁

Men without women is a brilliant book. I liked yesterday and kino most among all of them. Sheherzade is also good and 'an independent organ' was the most depressing story. Samsa in love was the most weird and enthralling at the same time. Read kafka on the shore if you have not already. Apart from japanese you can try reading a man called ove.

Do read Ashapurna Debi’s trilogy. “Prothom protishruti” being the first book, it’s a masterpiece. You will not only love reading it, but this book will also tell you a lot about the Bengali society of the time it was set on. The book is followed by “Subarnalata” and “Bakul katha”. Amazing read, it’s a must try if you haven’t already.
