It's all hyperbole bullshit. Spurs knew they were buying a guy who is inconsistent but on his good day he's great (note euro final) but at a club like spurs compared to Newcastle, they're not going to be patient enough to let you steadily find your feet in that team. So it's the club's fault really. You can't be called a flop if you've only had sporadic sub appearances up until January and then like nolito you're not seen again for the rest of the year.
