Haven't watched Aliens In a while, but I'm pretty sure Ridley doesn't break down a sick ass beat for the Alien In any of the movies. (Sadly)

@@MsNotorials James Cameron. Ridley Scott was Alien. Alex was right. The first film has a strong anti-science paranoia sub text. The company wants the alien for bio weapons research. The Science officer is not only a traitor but a robot. The heroes are the blue collar, working Joes. The more egg head or educated the character is, the more useless or evil they are. If you look carefully at Scott's work it's a recurring theme, a form of neo-luddite disdain that doesn't reject technology or advancement but is scared of it and considers it evil. Aliens by Cameron twists the narrative so the company isn't evil because of a thirst for knowledge and science but specifically the pursuit of money. The robot guy becomes a hero, the working class blue collar heroes are replaced with working class grunts but the general idea of the more educated being the most useless is maintained. Gorman, the pointless officer, is academy educated, not a real soldier. There's also the broader exploration of motherhood, rape and so on that most people comment on. Definitely more for the attentive observer than just alien kill people.

I am really interested in seeing them play monster hunter world. With their personalities and their entire gaming dynamic, it would be very entertaining. Like hearing Ellis talk/grieve about the weapons, Cath accidently cooking mid fight(which is a very common mistake for new players and even some vets), Alex and Gabby complaining about Jake screwing up(Gabby also probably laughing more than complain), and with Jake it can go one of two ways. He can either be surprisingly good(considering there's no friendly fire), or be the liability that gets them all killed as it gets harder. That and hearing Jake trying to pronounce the names will be hilarious.

Fortnite has two important qualities. Shit gunplay (thanks over reliance on bloom) and an actually good building mechanic. However, the developers, catering to children, continued to dull down the high-skill ceiling part of the game, making it a terrible experience. This is paired with a bad genre, bad layout, bad target audience, and so on.

I used to play it before they introduced the battle royal, once it felt like they were investing most of their effort into the battle royal I stopped playing, I don't really enjoy PVP games.

I aggree. Though I left a few seasons later. Had a lot of fun on PVE events until they said the basically loop everything and stop updating it. There are two additional problems making fortnite awful: EAC and constant bugs with gameplay and optimisation. I don't know any single other developer, who has millions playing the game and each new patch starts with "Sorry our new patch brought a gamebraking bug to the game wait two hours so we can fix it and THEN you can play". It's hilarious.

@@Blackraven6 I mean, League of Legends? Every new champion releases you have bugs for basically the whole wait for the next champion... Also I believe Fortnite's updates were many? If it's the case, then it's hard to stress test the patch and it's bound to have bugs.

Btw, the bow size its pretty realistic. Its a Long Bow afterall. So remember that, the bow size in Monsterhunter is actualy quite realistic. The fact that it can be folded at the point where you'd be gripping it and it still working perfectly fine is not. Might aswell have gone with a conpound bow or even better: A Crossbow.

I think ellis is talking about the arrow being unrealistically huge. Guess he didn't know that they'll be hunting monsters the size of dinosaurs with much thicker skin when he started playing, hence the ginormous arrows.

I don’t think they’re coming back to MH world (at least for the time being) because the games online is so poorly designed that they would have to play through the missions by themselves before they can actually play together. The first guest is literally the only mission they did before they decided that Monster Hunter world isn’t going to work for the main channel because of how little content they will get out of it.

Moster hunter is pretty tough game. I started playing it bt it was no fun cause my pc couldn't run it with more that 30-40 fps... But even so, understanding what is what, how to fight which monster and shiet... man thats a lot to memorize. Also, when you think about it, the size of weapons is logical. I mean, you are killing fcking GIANT MONSTERS, right?
