Would love to get these at retail and use them as they were intended but the hype is the opposite purpose these were made. I think it’s stupid for creators to tease the public with the concept of a utilitarian shoe for everyone and then they come out with limited quantities for hype and scarcity. Kanye is guilty of this as well.

He's going to likely continue playing with supply and demand and use the gimmick that he's restocking them widely when he's just basically restocking them every few months but in super limited quantities as a way to hype up the shoe.

i mean, there are so many alternatives of this shoe, like the killshot and waffle 1s, so you have to ask yourself do you really want that pairs sihoueltte because its special? or are you just falling for consumerism and hype?

@@hobbsurd ya, it was pretty straight forward. Just kept track of time for drop, entered my information into the website and they send you an email to let you know if you win. Just basically have to camp out on your email for the next 2 hours or so following the raffle

Also, they give you 30 minutes to check out after they send you an email if you hit. So no need to refresh your phone every 2 seconds. And be sure to check primary email, promotions, social, and spam. Good luck man!

I'm gonna buy a pair for my adopted Grandpa. He resides at an assisting living community. In addition, since he lived through the depression, I have never heard him say "It's only $100" about anything. Who needs style? My gramps could use a pair of general purpose shoes. And, I hear that the ladies at the home really dig quality materials.

I don't really like the silhouette but at the same time I love the breath of fresh air and attention to detail this shoe is. Glad you pointed out who the creator is as I have been oblivious to the name since the first Nike collab for some reason. Its an interesting niche.

To keep it simple. The whole upper is based on the "Nike waffle one". But with a more thicker sole for outdoor like NIke ACG.

It's basically a dunk/ waffle hybrid. These would look fire with a camo upper or in yellow. The fact they're not a gr though is ridiculous, they're just trolling now and a what waste of R&D. It could be the next big silhouette for Nike - they haven't had anything hype since the Yeezy's imo. This coulda gone next to the bestsellers all ages would cop.

If Nike used Tom Sachs as imprint for creating and manufacturing sneakers. Nike would be the best all round brand. Unfortunately the amount of unnecessary releases followed by poor quality from the country of my manufacture. Nike is just average. You are right about the bespoke side of these sneakers my bro 👊🏻❤💎

Note the Mars Yard 1.0 was actually designed with nasa materials from the actual mars rover so technically it is actually designed for mars and the relationship is with Casey’s brother who help Tom sach direct films he has

@@pabloco100 so the best I can say is that it's about the same as most nikes for me. If you have a typical size you usually go with in Nike the I'd say stick with that. I'm like a true size 9, but always go with 9.5 in Nike usually because of width. I can usually go with a 9 in NB or Adidas.

The soles that crack and crumble over time on the Jordan 3’s and 4’s are actually Polyurethane (PU) not Phylon soles. Phylon soles are found on the 10, 11, and 12’s which typically crease rather than crumble. As you mentioned though rubber soles are still the most durable when it comes to soles not crumbling and longevity. Great video!!

I got a pair retail. I like the quality. It’s great for the price but they are pretty firm. I haven’t worn them out yet but I will soon! Maybe after a couple miles they’ll break in.

Try comparing them to the Vans Ultrarange Exo? They look very similar and pretty much have the same features as these, so I'd say they're the closest comparison

Hit for 10.5W instead of M smh. Was able to locally swap for $30 on top (market was everywhere at the time) happy with hitting and actually finding local size swap

And to add to this stockx has the Killshot 2 under retail in most colors. I found my pair on clearance a month or so ago (I doubled up) but the killshot hype is dead. They can be found for 60-70 bucks brand new and not 160 like they were resell.

Tom Sachs probably rides mountain bikes. The soles of those shoes look like Specialized skin wall tires (Eliminator or Butcher models 2.6 tires) for mountain bikes. Or Maxxis mountain bike skin wall tires.

Just more scummy business tactics. Make a shoe that’s intended for everything and give it a price most people can afford but only make a I small supply and make them super hard to purchase. If the creator made sure there was enough stock at $110 the sneakers would change the game. The genius of simplicity that has a purpose is so effing cool. Do we really need a different sneaker For every single sport we play and thing we do…? Of course not! I would love to have a pair of these sneakers at it’s wholesale price.
