It actually looked pretty nice, for an advent calendar. A lot of makeup products. I really like that they didn't filled half of it with some random stuff. It would be a nice gift for someone who does not own a lot of makeup.

Revolution eyeshadows are super underrated! I was pretty impressed by the quality and their Deadly Desires palette is one of my favourites, I’ve got a lot of pans in it too!

I had the opposite experience with their shades, all of them disappeared after 2-3 hours or looked muddy but probably they have improved plus they're colour stories aren't very put together, at least this is my opinion.

Your estimated prices were really accurate and sensible. You’re so right the brands are always like so much value!!! Save $$$!!! When in reality it isn’t as much value as they proclaim. I like to vicariously watch advent calendar openings from people I know will give a solid review. 😊 definitely not the worst advent calendar I’ve seen, it is pretty good. For the right person and situation it could be fantastic. Editing Sarah had a really good point!

I agree it is definitely not a terrible value! Especially as the price keeps lowering. I was glad it didn't have any small single use samples, or random nail files and stuff haha. Could be great for the right person!

We should bare in mind that small sizes of regular products are normally not half the value, but a bit higher... you know.... the larger, the cheapest it gets! 😉 But I agree with you.

I got this for £28.50 for my niece, she’s 8 and wants to try makeup. I wouldn’t buy it for myself but it looked fun and not too scary colours for her to play with.

This is a great like starter kit, as a really young cosplayer i wanted makeup for an ucoming event im going to and i got this and read the reviews and what products are in it. I really like it so far :D There are a few things i would want but im just picky.

Makeup Revolution does powders so good! 👏🏻👏🏻 I'm a huge fan of their loose powder, but their translucent pressed powder is just as great! I highly recommend it. 👌🏻

You mentioned that they sent one to you last yr but you didn’t record it so it got me thinking what would you think about doing a video about brands sending you products but you don’t make a video? It's confusing that the packaging of products in the advent calendar is different than packaging in their normal line. Why would they do that?

I wonder if the brand was talking about the oz and that amount of the product you have. So the blush might be “mini”sized or “deluxe” sized, but maybe there’s a little more than half the product in there

I feel like the packaging seems a bit wasteful with the boxes being so much larger than the items themselves. I do think with this being a lower cost calendar, it could be a fun way to try the brand. I've never tried anything from Revolution. I wouldn't consider it if I was paying full price though.

Definitely, the box is like 60% air! Haha but also I did appreciate that there was no wasteful plastic wrapping on anything. I do think it could be a good intro to Revolution if it goes on sale for like $25 or $30!!

The packaging being so different from their usual products and the shades being off makes it feel like this was stock they had with like errors or something and they used it for the calendar? So interesting.

honestly, i think most beauty advent calendars are a waste of money in general and this one just seems kind of blah. i'll stick to my usual December ritual of having a tea and a chocolate advent calendar.
