Hey bro! I heard many things about the performance on this fragrance, and I heard that the Oman version is way better than the UK version on this fragrance. I’m thinking that this is because the weather difference, and because middle eastern made fragrances are stronger, I believe that this applies to Reflection Man as well. Hopefully this helps, but keep in mind that this is just what I’ve heard!

Great review bud. I have the same view on performance. Although, strangely I wore Reflection at a wedding recently and received a few compliments after 8hrs or so, albeit I couldn’t smell it at all. I can let the performance slide a tad if it smells that good. To me it’s a banger. A killer opening and worth buying at a decent price.

It’s a great smelling fragrance but the newer batch (which I have) only have a average performance. If you can get one that says amouage instead of amouage Reflection on the front you should be good

Yea good review mate, of all Amouage creates this would be one I don't think I'd ever go for. The DNA is fab and it's pure class, well from the "versions" I've tried but I guess I'd want more, more complexity which Amouage do so so well but for the same price... But yea it's all subjective

Now the performance. When I first got my bottle I was a little disappointed with the performance at first. I thought it had disappeared after about 2-3 hours. But I realized is was becoming nose blind to it and the high usage of musks and green notes can do that. What I thought had disappeared, people would say they could smell it fill a room 5-6 hours afterwards. Try spraying it on your leg, far away from your nose for a day. Don't go near it all day and then come back to it. Bet it's still there. Don't be deceived with this one it is strong, so strong you will go nose blind. Another interesting thing I have noted is my bottle is getting a little stronger as it continues to macerate. All the best sir and thank you for your review! Keep up the good work!

omg thank you for this video! i was just about to buy this tonight (based on the super performing sample i got from notino). Was your bottle made in UK or Oman? Also if you dont mind me asking, which site did you get this from and when? Notino, Allbeauty or? The display pic on notino shows the bottle without the Reflection text, and the one on Allbeauty has the Reflection text on the bottle.. smh smh smh

My one is from oman has and has ‘amouage reflection ‘on the bottle and was bought from Notino. Don’t get me wrong, it’s a great smelling fragrance but I have to overspray to get above average longevity which is annoying

lol Ill drop a gem for yall. Reflection man is a bit different than a lot of fragrances. It works on clothes. It doesn't perform super great on skin, its sweetens up super easy on skin but stays really close. If you want the best performance, you need to do 1 or 2 sprays on clothes from far away. This way it performs super well for 5-6 hours in the fall. 1 spray in the summer is more than enough.

I have Amouage Reflection Man and PDM Darley. I dont see the similarity at all. I use PDM Darley more and is more similar to Creed Original Santal. Which I love. Was my first niche purchase and have a back up bottle of it. Reflection Man is a beautiful scent. Will wear thoa spring.

PDM Pegasus is similar but much more gourmandish. I really don't like it anywhere nearly as much as Reflection Man.

Wish I had known about how diluted this is now. I tried a sample of Reflection 5 years ago and it blew my mind. I still remember it so clearly. Fast forward to this year after getting many small decants and I finally got a bottle. I can hardly believe the difference. Shame on Amouage and shame on all the houses for crapping on their loyal customers like this. Reformulations are terrible for me because they dilute and add tons of filler chemical fixatives to the juice and my sinuses are very sensitive to them. Completely ruins the fragrance for me. Avoiding those scratchy fixatives is the whole reason I buy niche. The difference between the new magnetic cap and vintage Reflection is extreme.

Great review of a great fragrance. I have no longevity issues with this one. Projects and lasts well. By no means beast mode but not bad at al. I have the magnetic cap, made in Oman version. There's also a made in UK version which I heard is not as potent.

I’m jealous🤣 It’s a shame because I have the same version as you bought from Notino. The longevity is average on me which is unfortunate because it’s a great smelling fragrance and I hate to overspray it to compensate for the longevity

Dont think so fella... Amouage sell fragrances all over the world and they are legal and compliant wherever they sell. I have 2 bottles of UK and both are best fragrances. I think the differences may be year and batch because of changes with IFRA but nor whether UK or Oman,, i think thats a red herring.

Just tried sample. Very powerful. Long lasting. Good projection. Unfortunately I hate it. It gave me a headache and assaulted my nose like I had insulted its mother. It was so bad I had to come home early from work to shower it off. I have fragrance PTSD now. Just awful.

Hmmm,, i seem to be going against the grain here but I genuinely don't really get the hype. It is nice absolutely no doubt but the way that Dior Sauvage is nice. Inoffensive and mass appealing is how i would describe it, nothing wrong with that at all. However to me the whole point of a niche fragrance is you get something perhaps less mass appealing but also very different and interesting. This is not a cheap fragrance, I have 2 Amouage,, Sunshine and Beach Hut, both are big on performance and both are unique,, not everyone will love them I know there will likely be something you love in Amouage range, that's Amouage at its best for me. Anyway, good video fella..
