I dearly love my Interceptor! I am 71, have ridden all my life, have owned crotch rockets, left the hightway at 95mph on my BMW RT 1150, spent over a week paralized from the neck down because my spine was traumatized from 7 broken ribs an inch from my spine in back (and 5 broken ribs in front) along with a crushed wrist. I should have died there that day, given the path I took, between two big concrete abutments and missing a jagged culvert by about a foot. It hurted. A lot. For a looong time. I am older and MUCH WISER now. A crotch rocket I DON'T WANT OR NEED. My Interceptor goes from zero to 70 plenty quick enough and can cruise there all day long. It is smooth, quick and nimble around town, has great brakes, and handles better than Triumphs. There are people who started with "moto vlogging" and now they just vlog anything.. but not a moto vlog just because thet got famous and thought its necessary for them because then they'll be able to appeal more to other people not just the riding community, it turns out it worked but that was just for fame and money while they have completely forgotten who and what made them famous. You're not one of them oggy, I have been watching your videos since you had the r15 and you reviewed the viaterra bag which i later bought myself.. you've been so consistent not caring about fame and just concentrating on actual moto vlogs. Great review and thank you! I'd agree that a more upright seating position is more comfortable, however at speed on the highway this will turn you into a windsock when the bike is a purely naked model like the Interceptor. On the other hand the slightly canted forward riding position of the GT will ameliorate wind blast to some degree and take the pressure off your wrists. But overall, I'd prefer some sort of windscreen that suited the styling of the bike, but took the majority of the wind blast off you for touring. In which case I'd agree the interceptor would be more versatile.

Interesting question. I wouldn't swap my bike for these bikes cause I've gotten attached to it. If I was in the market to buy a new bike I'd probably only buy an RC over this if I'm into faired bikes (which I am).

It wasn't too much of a strain on the body. Like I shared in the video, I only found the footpeg placement to be a little weird for me ...cause I ride an RC390 daily. Again, keep in mind that someone who comes from riding a motorcycle with an upright riding position may take a bit more time to get used to the riding position of the GT.

Hi bro thanks for sharing your words about the bike, I am here to ask one favour regarding riding of this bike, basically I am a cinematographer I use to travel much regarding my shootings, every time I travel by car but being a bike lover after doing much research myself I bought this bike just yesterday, to travel for less distance shootings, it got delivered to me in the mid day yesterday, from then I was riding this bike I drove just 70kms, my question is do we get pain in left palm and wrist while riding this bike, or else is it due to I am ringing the bike after many years but I used to ride all my friends bikes I never felt so, may be it's due to its seating position, can you please give me a suggestion regarding this, I feel like did I took a wrong decision without checking it for some long ride practically, but I really love this bike so I booked it without test riding it, as i never got a chance to drive this in my home town, can you pls give me a suggestion regarding this left hand pain, how to avoid this.

Not much more aggressive than the RC. It's only the footpeg placement that I personally found weird. The torque is pretty good. I'm sure it will be a joy to ride on an open highway.
