Hey I brought a GT recently and I did a long drive of 400kms and I never felt any difficulties no back pain nothing for me I enjoyed the ride a lot it’s very comfortable to me my height 6.1 no issues , now I got to know why they named it as Grand tourer 😍😍...

Hey Srikanth Reddy, did you feel any pain in your palms when you did a long drive? I am thinking of buying this gt please suggest me should i go for it or not?
@SrikanthReddy-fj6zo4 жыл бұрын
Shwetansh Gaur hey brother not at all till now I did 11 long drives of around 350 kms each but never felt pain at wrist , one suggestion u shouldn’t keep more weight on your wrist you just hold tank with your legs and just hold handle bar freely and you will be more comfortable. I suggest you to do a test drive as much as possible and once you feel comfortable to choose then decide and in traffic I felt little wrist pain due to multiple start and stops .only difficulty I felt was seat not so comfortable brother .
@shwetanshgaur96164 жыл бұрын
Thank you Srikanth, I'm just confused between Benelli imperiale 400 and gt 650. If you have some idea then please suggest me. I'm a college student so main use of bike is to travel in the city and once in a month for touring. No money issue, just a dream of bike. So please suggest me 😊
@SrikanthReddy-fj6zo4 жыл бұрын
Shwetansh Gaur don’t buy benelli brother it’s one dubba bike I tried that one as well , even I’m into same situation while choosing GT and my opinion benelli is not good because of price point and maintenance will be high if you go for benelli . Choose GT650 or interceptor which is perfect at this price range no other bike will satisfy. By the way what’s your height and where u from ?

It all depends from individual to individual. I am 5.11 and I didn’t find any prob with my GT650 as I can sit in 3 diff positions, if u sit close to the tank u won’t have any prob for long time. I went to Kolkata from Vizag took 2 days as I did 450 kms a day.

So the interceptor said he could ride it for 100 kms "effortlessly", and the continental GT rider says the same thing in a negative manner " I couldn't ride the Continental GT for more than 150 kms. It got uncomfortable" I think any motorcycle rider would need a break after 100-150 kms of touring.
@MadrasMotorHead5 жыл бұрын
Aakash Sandhu 1. Interceptor’s stock seats are uncomfortable and the rider will not be able to ride it for a longer time. My threshold being 150kms. If I change the seats I’ll be able to ride more. 2. The Continental had aggressive posture and hence my threshold will be 150kms max. Comparing two differently positioned bikes is not logical and the kms clocked in a stretch is subjective. 😊 PS; I’ve ridden my street triple for 200 kms without a break.
@aakashsandhu21655 жыл бұрын
@@MadrasMotorHead I am thinking about swapping interceptor's seat with the one on Continental. But honestly I love the outright sporty sitting posture, it actually makes me rev more and I was never a RE fanboy but these twins are purest and smoothest in this price bracket.
@MadrasMotorHead5 жыл бұрын
Aakash Sandhu Agreed with respect to the posture making you want to go fast. The seats are a major concern with both the bikes...
@aakashsandhu21655 жыл бұрын
@@MadrasMotorHead will sort that out, but I felt a great amount of heat on the Conti, as I am 5 11 and my legs were dangerously close to the engine. Whereas on the interceptor the position is far better, continental sparks the fire in me but it could also burn my knees 😂

I ride a continental gt. Everyday I would say and I've never faced any issues with the lugging. I have had 160 in 5th and even 60 in 6th. I highly doubt if one has to rev it to be able to climb the gear ladder. Talking about speed. Yeah you read that right, 160 in 5th js what I count. Suspension is a little stiff, can't agree more on this. Summing all this up, it's absurd one passes the judgement on a vehicle after driving it for some miles. Not cool bro.
@MadrasMotorHead4 жыл бұрын
bryan fury It’s a matter of riding experience. I agree different owners have different experiences with the bike but the engine knocking or lugging is a common characteristic agreed by most of the reviews out there. This is not a complaint but how the bike is turned to perform. The reason I make reviews confidently is because I’ve ridden various bikes along these years with over 100k kms on the ODO. I don’t make reviews for the sake of doing it and because I’m passionate about motorcycles. Thanks a lot for taking time out and commenting. Safe riding bud :)
