Are you more interested in the Tactics or the Metal Slug aspect of the game?

I was more interested in the tactics side of it until I actually played it. The run and gun takes away from tactical choices and the rougelite hurts the game more than it benefits it. I can see why people like the game but it's not for me, I'm glad I played it on game pass instead of buying it.

Metal Slug and tactical RPGs. So this pretty much was made for me exclusively. I do like the number of tactical games coming out from franchises outside the genre like Persona 5 Tactica and this

Those are the two areas that this game absolutely nails. Tactics and Metal Slug. You will likely love it.
