It's really good. I hope it gets a map expansion though.
@VDGMS3 сағат бұрын
That would be a great thing to add. Even though there are something like 110 handcrafted maps, two of the areas look fairly similar. One or two more areas that look drastically different than desert or pyramids would be great.

Most underrated review channel on youtube 🔥I checked out BO:6 on Game Pass and did have a good time with it. I do intend to keep playing through while I wait for Indiana Jones, but COD really doesn't do much for me, overall. Which makes me feel like I'm missing something when you look at the game sales of this franchise!
@VDGMS3 күн бұрын
Thanks for the kind words. Stalker 2 also hits game pass soon and should give you enough time before Indy. I don’t think you’re missing something. Some people enjoy that it’s just easy to pick up if you want to unwind after a long day at work, or with some friends. With your name, did you check out our Top 25 of 2025 most anticipated indies? The art in Goldman looks crazy, like Steamboy as a game. Hyper Light Breaker is gonna remap my brain synapses.

Breakers delay as unfortunate, but early 2025 will be a perfect time for it. I loved their first two games and it seems like a perfect hybrid. There is a three minute deep dive on the art of Goldman on PlayStations KZbin channel. Highly recommend watching. Also working on part 2. So another 25 indies coming!

A lot people I know say it not your typical tactical rpg. It more like a rogue lite with tactile elements. Turn based, but my god the enemy out number you every single time and you have to organize your team precisely to win each time.

So when you say you want to blur the line between content creation and traditional media, would you care to explain a bit further?
@VDGMS10 күн бұрын
Traditional media does a lot of reviews, previews, and interviews, which is what I do. On the other hand "Content Creators" are typically one person and they typically do reactions and the thumbnails are very face reaction type stuff, which is what I don't want to do. A lot of content creators also try to highlight negative aspects of a game because it gets more traffic. Hopefully this makes a little more sense. Also have you played Bo yet?

The feel is definitely drawing inspiration from Hallow Knight at parts. Impact of hitting enemies has a LOT more screen shake to it, but taking hits looks to be the same. The health bar looks to be a reskinned Health bar from HK, and the attack animation with the sweeping motion is eerily similar. I know the fans say the idea is stolen, but I welcome anything in the Metroidvania genre. Even if the case is that HK's character format was just entirely reskinned, I follow the concept of "If it isn't broken, don't fix it." Give it a shot HK fans!

It's crazy that Vamp Survivors has become big enough that "Survivor Like/Lite" has become a genre. Great vid, as always! They have an awesome IP in Deep Rock
@VDGMS14 күн бұрын
Hey Miguel, Sometimes games come along like that. I sunk a lot of hours into VS, but think Deep Rock shines due to the strategy and staying true to the IP. There are still loads of modes from DRG that haven’t been brought over. Lots of potential on an already great game. You a survivor like fan?
@Miguel_Pratz14 күн бұрын
@@VDGMS Def a survivor fan - I haven't played anything Deep Rock yet, but the podcasts "The Business of Video Games" released a GREAT episode with the CEO of Ghostship - so it has been on my list of things to do!

Can’t beat the price of the genre. Most are under ten bucks. This one too!
@loganentertainment181414 күн бұрын
When I first saw it, I was thinking the same thing. It did look like it was just a Cashin to profit off the Cuphead genre by using rubber hose animation, with a more mature style, and is in black and white. The title just being “Mouse” felt bland, but Mouse PI for Hire sounds better, and the re are some cool stuff for the game. I will admit it does look cool, and I’m willing to give it a chance.
