Despite being able to play it solo, you still need to connect to the servers for the ongoing galactic war etc, which means you would need PS Plus

i remember watching videos about hollow knight like 4-5 years ago and at some point saw people waiting for silk song i completely forgot about hollow knight but bought it a month ago because saw it on steam, completed it and now see these videos again, so much has changed but nice to see at least one consistency: the players are still waiting for silk song to be released "soon" lmao

Well it's 2025, and still radio silence for the most part, all we've had Lately are 2 replies on x, a bunch if reposting and a LogitechG post on Instagram saying it'll come out this year though even i highly doubt that's true

Keep up the good work. Shroom and Gloom looks unique, which is hard to do, especially for a deck-builder. I haven't tried it yet, because I don't want to spoil the experience. I would say it’s safe to jump in right now. It’s also on sale on Steam currently for 30% off. They also have a roadmap they just posted a month ago with loads more content coming, so by the time you feel you need more there will likely be more.

What people don't understand the first iteration of mega man was a suit this was because rock was in fact designed to help around the lab so there was no real need to give him a body other than what you see due to being sleek in design. This means being agile as well as highly customisable instead of a heavy body and restrictive hampering that so the logic does add up even as you see him just pop off his hand effortlessly and as you see the design of his arms it's as if the whole thing can be modified and adjusted based on what is required. In later iterations rock does have his body replaced and becomes a more durable frame due to now his role is outside the lab requiring the need to be more durable also his blaster gets upgraded too instead of being yellow blast (they kinder messed this up in the animation though but its a simple oversight). It becomes blue blasts and then later on be able to properly charge it so it would require a much more powerful core to produce the energy as well as hold the energy to allow such a blaster without it draining his reserves causing him to shut down. In the much later iteration rock goes from mega man to X where his body becomes even more modified.

Everyone that says the story is formulaic makes me suspicious they did not actually finish the game or 100% it. Because there is a shift in the context of the narrative that makes that "bland rpg stuff" into a total fake out.
