I respect your opinions.. the only thing I can say is... TW3 is the best game I ever played by far, and with the best quality. I would never say that lightely. I've been a PC gamer during 26 years and played many RRGs, many hours each (more hours than I dare to admit). But I'm not an specialist on the subject, and I understant that people have different tastes... however, from there to say "Witcher 3 Isn't worth a buy" is beyond my comprehension.

To be honest I feel like the biggest drawback to this game it's originally high asking price. Like it's not a 55 pound/ $60 game. I got it for free and I'm having a lot of fun with it actually 😅 I'm dying a lot but it's the same way that I die a lot in monster Hunter where I'm dying a little bit less now because I can see some of the hits coming. It's just surprising how fast they moved for such big orcs. Also it's kind of clunky especially if you try climbing the back of a guy that's moving forward, but I feel like they could iron out The kinks if they ever made a sequel

An argument that I hate to see is "I'd like to see you make a better game." If you buy an expensive meal from a restaurant, you're gonna expect it to be good. If it tastes like crap and you demand a refund, you dont see the waiter saying something like"I'd like to see you make a better meal." No one is saying making games is easy, but if you can't do it properly either learn or don't do it. If I'm paying full price I should be getting a full game.

Always enjoy your game reviews, as much as I enjoy ACG game reviews. Near the 6:30 and 7:30 mark of your review of “Extinction”, you mention a game ACG gave a good review to that you disagreed with. I couldn’t tell what game you were talking about. I have closed captioning on, but it was no help. At 6:30 mark it read you said “feared ex teller” and at the 7:30 mark it read “feared x dollar”. Some help from gamers. About 20 years ago when my older brother brought a PC into the house he had few games. There was one I just can't remember the name for some reason bugs the shit out of me. What I remember is it's based in a mansion. You've just moved in. You play a women and the house seems haunted. Can't remember if it was point and click or a kind of third person top down.

Damn dude, you misled me at the beginning but it all makes sense. Its a shame that even when big gaming industry company games turn out to be big steaming piles of horse semen, people gobble that shit up just because its got a brand name and everyone else is buying it (ironic that people buy what other people are buying, but who bought in the first place?). Thanks Mack, I'd say its a shame you had to spend $50 to reveal the truth instead of getting a review copy, but I think it actually helps a lot more that they refused. I actually met the devs of this game a couple months ago at a Game Dev conference in London. I thought it looked cool, didn't bother playing it for more than five minutes. Spent some time talking to the devs and they didn't even sound excited about their game. This game was not made with passion, it was made by a bunch of suits in a board meeting. cant believe its £50 for 2gb of game. lol.

Remember the good ol' days when gameplay mechanics like 'bullet time' weren't a built in always enabled cheat code that made playing the game effortless? Remember 'Max Payne' - from *2001* - where we got this great, fully fleshed out neo-noir story & style with characters that had some actual level of depth, a progression that offered an actual CHALLENGE but was immensely rewarding, gameplay that was actually immersive? 2001. What happened? What the fuck happened? It certainly hasn't been all bad since then of course, it's the 2010s when things really started to go to shit, but it just blows my mind that today's games are, graphics, animations, & mechanics aside, WORSE than 'Max Payne' from 2001. It's sad. But, the good news is that I'm in no rush to pay inflated prices for a real graphics card(using an RX550 for a place holder for now) because, hey, the titles that really make use of them are shit!

Mack EFT isn't PTW it hasn't even been released yet, You can easily join the game with a pistol and kill someone with a bigger gun, with EFT you are going to be able to upgrade your standard stash to large using in-game currency the currency is easy to get in game.

Mack, I'd like to see GTFO get a WAB. It's early access right now and looks pretty cool on paper. But they also use the P word (procedural) which makes me raise an eyebrow. We do deserve what we're getting from the industry now. We deserve Tarkov and this. And I have a feeling it'll get worse before it gets better. The fact they refuse to give you review copies is a testament to your standards and morals to bring honest reviews. It's almost like gamers are in a abusive relationship with the industry. They keep treating us like shit, but we turn around and defend their behavior and give them one more last try.

I have to disagree with you on your commentary when it comes to Fate Extella. Fate Extella is based on a long-running manga and anime series that has been a huge success around the world. The game may be a Dynasty-warriors inspired game, with long-winded visual-novel cutscenes, but they cater to a specific audience. I personally enjoy weird games, Japanese titles, RPGs, JRPGS, titles likes that.When you see what the game was trying to do in terms of sticking to the source material and creating a unique experience, it succeeds. That's why it was very well-recieved. Personally, I also don't follow metacritic and I am the kind of gamer that usually plays everything. You are free to your opinion but as someone that has nearly 100%'d Fate Extella, i wanted to elaborate on that subject form my perspective.

Something that annoys me is that kids who have never played Shadow of the colossus will think this game is incredible. Also, you'd think a developer making a game about taking down giant beasts would've played shadow and thought, "we gotta at least try and make something half as good as that", but it seems they just couldn't be bothered, a shame really as there are no virtually no games like this.
