This restaurant holds a great memory for me. In 1984 my whole family visited WDW fur the second time as a family. Epcot had just recently opened. We camped at the campgrounds. (We had little funds. ) we went inside the pyramid and I was blown away by the interior and the ambiance. I understood there was a restaurant there. But I thought “ there is no way we will be eating in here. No way.” Then my dad said “ grab a table and let’s get some food.” 😳😳😳😳😳 I’ve not been back inside that building since even though having gone 8 more times in my life since then!!! 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

Another great review. We love this place. Have been eating lunch there for over 20 years. A must do on our lunch list every trip. We have always enjoyed our servers, never had a bad one. Love the flight shirt !

Update as of 6/4/24 - so glad we gave this restaurant a second chance!! They have since made some significant changes. The tables now have beautifully decorated dividers, gone are the endless rows of movable tables. But even better...they've now installed overhead "street lanterns" in addition to the nice lamp on each table so you can see! We counted three managers walking around and checking in on folks and making sure everything was running smoothly. So glad we went back! Thanks to videos like yours, Disney has been listening and made some positive changes to this loved restaurant!

I just want my margaritas in a quiet setting. I usually go with family, and we eat appetizers at La Cava but since my next trip is solo, I'm booking this one! On the meny, I only see the fundido, not the queso now.

We ate at San Angel around New Year's last year and enjoyed it. We have reservations at La Hacienda de San Angel next Sunday, and hope its as good. If you're around, drinks are on me!

We went there on our latest trip to WDW because of this review. Their specialty San Angel Inn margarita comes in a shaker, so you get a bit more than a standard pour. Of course, we got the queso. But my main dish was PHENOMENAL, pollo a las rajas - the chicken was cooked perfectly, and the poblano pepper cream sauce was so tasty!

We ate here for the first time on our last trip and loved it so much we ate there again the last night! We are booked again for our next trip in January. When I asked for my family's feedback in booking ADRs they said San Angel for every meal! The service was wonderful and the food was YUMMY!

We enjoy this restaurant, the Tacos de Ribeye are very tasty. My son's favorite ride is Three Caballeros, so we can't beat the theming. Always try to go here during our trip.

What a nice visit back to San Angel Inn! I haven’t eaten there since the 90s since there are so many other options in EPCOT, but I’ll have to give it another try :-). The concept is obviously based on the iconic Blue Bayou Restaurant at Disneyland. WDW wasn’t supposed to have a Pirates ride, and when they added the ride later there wasn’t room for a restaurant. This works well using the same concept, although the associated ride isn’t nearly in the same league.
