Never make adjustments to your saw or chain with the battery attached. That is a very basic safety rule you forgot to follow.

All of a sudden my chain won't tighten. Any idea. I cleaned it thoroughly

It's a bit a force to pull the bar out but is the chain stretched out? It's possible once they heat up they stretch and need replacing. You may also try putting the bar in a clamp and pulling back on the motor end if your sure everything there is cleaned and not bound up.
