Use rinse less wash with distilled water. Spray, wipe, dry and repeat. Will need a 2nd bucket to rinse the mitt. I bought the Worx but use a airless sprayer and only use maybe 1 gallon of water to do my car. Rinse water can be regular old tap water.

The 40V version only ups the PSI by like 15, so I'll stick with my 20V 4amp battery version. When they can push over 400PSI with the same runtime as a 20V with 4amp battery, then I'll upgrade. But for those buying their first one, the 40V is the way to go because you get a much longer running battery for just 20 bucks more, vs upgrading the battery on the 20V.

Thanks Allen - I'm sticking with my 20v too - for the time being. Your right, when 400psi comes along, Im jumping ship.

I see everyone saying not enough pressure for adequate foam, but that accessory is not a form cannon it's a soap dispenser. Different type of nozzle and distribution. I wish Worx would manufacture a true foam dispenser for use with the hydroshot it would probably be very effective and at least operate as good as pump foamer without having to pump for pressure.

Totally useless as a foam cannon, needs much more pressure than that. This machine IS useful however for detailing; attach a 5 gallon drum of distilled water to it, and use this gun as a final rinse after a wash, for a spot free finish! Water spotting only occurs when water dries up, the particles left behind form the spot you see, using distilled water stops that problem.

Yup. But the thing is they are NOT dirty in your videos. When I visited California like 10 years ago I was really astonished by how I could drive a car for like 3 months every day and it remained as clean as the first day I rented it. The only time it got really dirty is when I drove to Death Valley. On the way back to San Jose I got in a real shower with lightnings and thunder, and voila!, the car was clean again when I arrived. We can only dream of that here... Those clean cars are probably as shocking as Americans not taking off or changing their footwear when they come home (for the same reason I guess).

Hey all that foam makes you feel like something magical is happening
@Mr-E.5 жыл бұрын
@@Kitearmy You are correct. I am a chemist with plenty of research into surfactants. More foam will not loosen more dirt because the foam contact at the surface of the paint is the same. Think of this way... the "magic" that occurs is at the contact point between the foam and the dirt on the car surface... if the foam is 2 inches thick or 1 inch thick, that excess foam has no effect on the surface "war" that is going on. Also the bubbling effect is just a visual appearance, this is why shampoos that lack sodium sulfate still perform and clean the oils and dirt out of your hair even though they don't foam up. So you definitely have the right perspective on it!
