I've already found several uses for my new tool. I actually got a set of the larger WA3578 4.0AH batteries to allow for extended operation. I find that being able to use hot water for cleaning the car is advantageous. Also there is an attachment where you can fit a bottle to the worx to make it even more portable for smaller jobs . Example; wheel hubs. Rather than take out a full bucket of water to rinse them just use the bottle attachment. Perrier of course :)
@MarkThomasBuilder5 жыл бұрын
Your choices sound like a good way to clean a car! They make a bottle accessory that works along with an ordinary empty 2L plastic bottle. I have the part and plan to open it up and make a video review, testing it out. It will be out within a week. I'll show my honest thoughts and experience with it. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that it works well!
@slicedpage5 жыл бұрын
@@MarkThomasBuilder I have only used this accessory once and although it has limited use liquid quantity wise, I can see it will have multiple applications. When it comes to washing a car this bottle can contain the correct proportions of car shampoo to water. Whereas with the liquid dispenser bottle attachment cannot give accurate amounts due to the inconsistencies of water pressure in various areas. The bottle attachment can be used to dispense weed killer,plant nutrition etc etc. Heck maybe even wood preservative paint for spraying onto fencing. I doubt if I'll try that last one myself but hopefully a youtuber with some spare cash or sponsorship with Worx will try that idea.
@MarkThomasBuilder5 жыл бұрын
I've always used clean water in my pressure washers. I would consider trying premixed car shampoo, but think using weed killer is best to be used in the approved low flow sprayers. Milwaukee has a nice battery powered weed sprayer.

Oh man, I guess that's why people always say to wear shoes with a pressure washer.

We have a covered boat dock that we're constantly fighting algae growth on the areas that get very little direct sunlight. This device works GREAT in that I can draft lake water to clean it. The only thing I wish they included is a direct AC adapter...we have electric on the dock and it would be WAY better to have unlimited time for cleaning when drafting from a large water source.

Sounds interesting. It would need to be a GFI plug, which likely makes it more complicated.

You ever try this with brick? I want a low psi so I don't lose all the mortar, not sure if this is strong enough psi. If not this, any ideas on something around 1000 psi?

Well done...mine gets here in 5 more days...WORX has horrible order fulfillment process....takes 10 days...ha;f in shipping. Half in processing your order...phone calls are worthless. They tend to call back in 2mhours..

Do you order through Amazon ever? I put a link in the description, so you can get one in Prime 2 day shipping.

Just got mine love it ...but the battery life or should i say batteries life kinda blows. I guess we could double up on the 4.0 or even 6.0 amp batts but that would be HEAVY LOL.
@MarkThomasBuilder5 жыл бұрын
It would be handy if you owned other Worx items, so you could swap out the batteries.

Thank you most helpful and thorough survey I don't know if i can get the model you demonstrate in UK ? but i will be looking out for one as it would not need an outside tap which suites my needs

Thank you! I would think that Amazon would ship it to the UK, but can't say for sure.

Can the bucket have something like Wet n forget in it or some kind of house siding cleaner? And if so what kinda height can you get out of that 0deg setting? I’m trying to get some mold and algae off the house and my regular hose pressure isn’t enough to reach. I’m desperate.
@MarkThomasBuilder2 жыл бұрын
I would look for the online owners manual and see if addresses any of those questions. I would think you could use it for that, but I think you would want to flush it out thoroughly afterwards. I would think this should spray a 2 story home from the ground on the o 0 degree setting. If I get a chance, I'll see how many feet it sprays.

💯 That's what I recommend. It's much easier to use this than to drag a hose a long way from the house.

Liked your video. How long if unit is connected to garden hose will the batteries last? Any idea how much soap required for the length of time for the batteries?

Jeeper1378 I plan on buying one for exactly the same thing. To use with my 5 gallon distilled water jugs. Would you recommended it? I like the idea of not worrying about drying my car and being able to do a waterless wash and still clean my wheels

How far or high does it shoot water with the 0 degree setting? Will it reach 2 story house siding?
@MarkThomasBuilder5 жыл бұрын
Approximately 17'-20' at 0 degree.
@TheRcfun1235 жыл бұрын
I don’t think the pressure would be of much use at that point though. I have a 2600psi Honda and even that on zero degrees is sort of useless at more than five or so feet. There’s extension nozzles you can get though that should go into the worx quick connect on the end of the wand
