@@MarkThomasBuilder Received my Hydroshot, and all of your points in your review were spot-on. This thing sure beats fumbling around with a garden hose. I've already found several uses for my new tool. I actually got a set of the larger WA3578 4.0AH batteries to allow for extended operation. I use those as the primary batteries and keep the default batteries as backup should I run out of power. I've subscribed to your channel and am looking forward to future reviews. Thanks again Mark! We have a covered boat dock that we're constantly fighting algae growth on the areas that get very little direct sunlight. This device works GREAT in that I can draft lake water to clean it. The only thing I wish they included is a direct AC adapter...we have electric on the dock and it would be WAY better to have unlimited time for cleaning when drafting from a large water source.

Sounds interesting. It would need to be a GFI plug, which likely makes it more complicated.

I find that being able to use hot water for cleaning the car is advantageous. Also there is an attachment where you can fit a bottle to the worx to make it even more portable for smaller jobs . Example; wheel hubs. Rather than take out a full bucket of water to rinse them just use the bottle attachment. Perrier of course :)
@MarkThomasBuilder5 жыл бұрын
Your choices sound like a good way to clean a car! They make a bottle accessory that works along with an ordinary empty 2L plastic bottle. I have the part and plan to open it up and make a video review, testing it out. It will be out within a week. I'll show my honest thoughts and experience with it. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that it works well!
@slicedpage5 жыл бұрын
@@MarkThomasBuilder I have only used this accessory once and although it has limited use liquid quantity wise, I can see it will have multiple applications. When it comes to washing a car this bottle can contain the correct proportions of car shampoo to water. Whereas with the liquid dispenser bottle attachment cannot give accurate amounts due to the inconsistencies of water pressure in various areas. The bottle attachment can be used to dispense weed killer,plant nutrition etc etc. Heck maybe even wood preservative paint for spraying onto fencing. I doubt if I'll try that last one myself but hopefully a youtuber with some spare cash or sponsorship with Worx will try that idea.
@MarkThomasBuilder5 жыл бұрын
I've always used clean water in my pressure washers. I would consider trying premixed car shampoo, but think using weed killer is best to be used in the approved low flow sprayers. Milwaukee has a nice battery powered weed sprayer.

@@MarkThomasBuilder I guess part of the fun of being a youtuber(not a fan of that title BTW) is that if you do get sponsored to promote something you can do daft things with it to get lots of reviews. Can you use your own foam cannon with it?Thanks!
@MarkThomasBuilder Жыл бұрын
I haven't tried it with another foam cannon. You can definitely use other foam cannons with electric pressure washers around 2,000 psi.

@@michaelb301 Yes, I showed the foam cannon in this video. It works well.

How does it fare against driveways and decking?
@MarkThomasBuilder4 жыл бұрын
It does light cleaning, but not the deep cleaning removal.
@junovue4 жыл бұрын
Does it last through 1 thorough wash or need extra batteries u think

I forget the run time. I believe 12 minutes on high power.

You can buy batteries at eBay ! I have the same gun he has. The batteries arrived today and washed my car . I rinsed the car, then foamed it, then rinsed it again and rinsed the wheels and tires. Still had 4 bars out of 5 ! I bought 2 20v 6.0ah for around $45 they work amazing !

Yes, it runs on 2- 20volt batteries. I believe they're both 2Ah batteries.

Hello, what is the battery runtime?
@MarkThomasBuilder4 жыл бұрын
Sorry, I forgot offhand, but think it's somewhere around 15 minutes.
@alejandrovasquez92184 жыл бұрын
would it work on a sidewalk or driveway
@MarkThomasBuilder4 жыл бұрын
It's not as powerful as a pressure washer, so it can only do a rinse of the sidewalk. It's not the deep cleaning like you see with high PSI pressure washers.

Wow, 70 psi is good pressure! The Hydroshot is $199, the soap dispenser is $15 and the turbo nozzle $30.

How well does it work on decks?
@MarkThomasBuilder5 жыл бұрын
It's great for small projects, like patio furniture and small areas of a deck. For an entire deck, you might want an electric or gas pressure washer.

Crap just bought and used a couple times the single battery version. Just find out now about this dual battery. So yours wouldn't go longer but more powerful tgfn single battery correct.

Yeah I’m guessing the dual has more psi and more running time.

How does this newer model feel as to balance? I am looking to purchase to have water rinse on wheels with a 5-gallon bucket. Not sure the extra weight and balance is for the extra $100.
@MarkThomasBuilder5 жыл бұрын
That's a good question. I'd say it feels well balanced. If you want to run the turbo nozzle effectively, then you'll want to upgrade to this model.

It's great for portable cleaning. It sounds like you need an electric pressure washer.
