I love the worx hydro shot. I bought 2 7 gallon jugs at Walmart and use those to take with on the rare occasion I dont have water at a customers location. I looked at trailers with a tank and pressure washer and i just dont have the 10k to put down on one. I can now make the claim of eco friendly since i can do most cars with 7 gallons, where a normal hose uses more than that per minute. Plus I can buy distilled water and rinse with that so I dont have to dry. This machine is awesome

Be careful telling a customer that their hose from the house uses 7 gallons a minute. 5 at best with new pipes. Not trying to be a know it all just don’t want a client telling you that you are wrong....

@@Ian-fg7rq thanks Ian! My Google search the other day said 6-40 gallons per minute. So if I'm using only 14 gallons the whole time that is still alot better. I've not really been marketing as eco friendly, that wouldn't be a big selling point in my area

just a suggestion or a thought. depending on your situation. if you decide to get a trailer set up, just for detailing. it can be done cheaper than 10 grand. i am building my set up over this winter to start in spring. I have researched hard and heavy. you can pick between enclosed or open utility trailer, can be had for less than 2 grand. gas pressure washer less than 300. a 65 gallon tank for less than 150(including all fitting to hook everything up). one thing a trailer will allow is to put a generator on it. the plus side to an enclosed is being able to leave everything in it. i am getting a trailer next month my self. i tend to appreciate tools that have multiple uses. maybe the only benefit i have, is i have truck. just sucks it is only 5'6" bed. my plan may also be different, i don't want to be limited due to equipment.

I love the hydroshot a lot! I don’t need a trailer to haul my stuff around since I’m a mobile Detailer! I can wash two cars off the 40 volt battery! I would recommend the hydroshot and also you can hook a garden hose to it! Great video man!🐟

I have the 20V. but 4.0mAh. The mAh is what makes it last longer not the Volt. as far as I know

I been using air injection for rinsless wash my setup is a dewalt 15 gallon compressor y can use it for interiors wheels is awesome

I see a lot of negative reviews about being not powerful and garden hose have better psi but it not dedicated for big cleaning job nor it advertised as replacement for more powerful power washer. It like using low end pc for gaming. Like I said before pair it up with ik foamer and you got yourself a mini water tank. You should try Harbor Freight airless paint sprayer when using onr it have more psi. Scott from Dallas paint correction made a video on this and it pretty creative idea.

A garden hose doesn't have better psi just people don't know the difference between psi and water flow as well as how tit factors into performance.

For cleaning the concrete you should've adjusted the degrees to 15 or at least 25 because 40 is mostly for watering or wetting a surface. You also don't get the full pressure unless it's plug up to a garden hose but siphoning from a bucket it's roughly 180 psi

Ahh, good point on the degree. Although the primary point of the Hydroshot is when I don't have access to water and need a bucket. But I should have done it either way for the video lol

I use this every time I mobile detail. I Advertise as ECO-friendly, and this combined with ONR does the job :) I only use it for 5 minutes to pre-rinse lower part of vehicle and wheels, then ONR, dry and done.

I made the purchase but it won't siphon the water I read the instructions to operate it at high pressure for 30 sec but I've been doing it for like 10 min and nothing if you've experience this can you please give me any advice thank you

Oscar I would like to know your opinion. First I do have an electric pressure wash but I want to purchase the hydro to wash my cars when they’re not too dirty. I plan to pre soak my car followed with shampoo using the IK 12 foamer. Then rinse it with the hydro using distilled water. Lastly clean the wheels since I don’t have to worry about water spots. Summer is almost here so I have no shade and plan to work section my section. First roof and hood then the sides and trunk. Take my time use 4 mitts so I don’t need 2 buckets and and get no swirls. What you think?

The Hydroshot is a must have for mobile guys without a water source. Don't buy the Sun Joe one...even though it's more powerful than the Worx, it's definitely nowhere near as durable. I used it for about 3 or 4 months, then it started to break down. First the shut off switch broke, then the pump itself broke. Apparently, from what I've heard, it would be covered by warranty, but you have to pay to ship it out. The reviews now will show many bad ones stating the same problems I've mentioned. I was able to sell the battery of the Sun Joe, it's actually the only really good part of the kit. The battery alone they sell for almost $200, so that pretty much tells you the quality of the rest of the unit, since it's sold for like $250

after watching your videos along with many others i have decided to take my home based detail service mobile. I could easily convert over to using a no rinse formula and carrying a bucket and few gallons of water to use however, my concern my concern was with the wheels and tires. I was concerned with being able to rinse product off of them. the worx hydroshot appears to be a viable option to simply rinse down the tires and occasionally hose off a bit of mud/dirt. Question is do you think it will run long enough to throughly rinse the tires and wheels and if i have a couple jobs a day would it last long enough to complete multiple jobs

Great video as always! Our city water in fort bend county is ridiculous. Been using this with distilled water for the final rinse and it makes a world of a difference. Using the 2L bottle connector with a bottle full of rinseless wash makes for a good presoak as well.

Will this remove the light layer of dirt that accumulates on a vehicle? Sometimes you see that little trail of dried mud/dirt next to the wheels/tires on the body

There is two models, the 20v and 40v. If you want your battery to last longer get a higher amp battery but no you can't interchange 20v and the 40 volts battery. Good deals for used batteries on OfferUp and Craigslist

Tyrone Davis cuz its a worthless to anyone doing real work.. Not to really knock but running on a battery is gonna hinder how much you can do.. Like he said you better get 3 batteries and if you're doing a really dirty car it basically wont be that effective
