I understand that you may be disappointed, but I understood that the garage was not intended to keep the mower dry. As I read in different discriptions on the internet, the garage is intended to keep the mower out of direct sunlight. The mower will indeed start its job and mow in the rain, where its rain function will tell it to stop and not make a mess of the lawn. Not mowing the lawn in the rain is not bad for the mower, it might just get dirty, but the grass could be messed up. So I understand your issue, but I don't think of it as an issue. Happy mowing.

Well that facts are that it kept it too dry. Thus the hole I drilled over the rain sensor port.

Hej der,kan godt se problemet, jeg var også irriteret over at robotten kørte ud selv om det regner. Har sendt en opfordring til Worx om at udvikle en sensor til montering på taget af garagen, men de ville tænke over det. Jeg har i princippet lavet det samme som du har, blot har jeg lavet en regnsamler et stykke over garagen og koblet en slange på der går ned under taget og hen til til regnsensoren, det fungerer perfekt (jeg undgår på den måde at bore i garagen).

That's good, whatever works for you. I just wanted to keep it simple and drill a few holes in the hood inside hinge to keep it clean. It's worked great for the last few years. Thanks for watching from my favorite overseas country. Ciao for now

wow! a five minute delay to figure out it was raining to go back to home base. can you override it using the app? crazy!

Hey you! Yes, it can be overridden, and He is water proof. So really its not a big deal other than Freddie getting his undercarriage dirty. A simple hole on the garage top over the droid sensor below would have made Freddie happier. It's a simple fix and a no brainer for a lay person to rig. The engineers at Worx should have tripped all over themselves solving this issue. But noooooooooooo!! lol I drilled 3 holes and enlarged them to get more moisture on Freddie's sensor and all is well with the world again...

Yeppers, (drilled holes in the garage cover over the rain sensor) its in the video at around 430 run time.

do you run a personal plan or the automatic plan with grasstype, size, fertalizer settings etc? atleast they claim it would use "local weatherdata" but i also saw mine mow with rain 30min before

I run it on auto settings. To use the local weather data here you need to purchase a monitoring package that has a monthly fee. I rather not do that I would rather let it run in auto and figure it out on its own.

Yes it does via the app, but as you can see in the video it does not always work as advertised.

@@DIY-This yeah, I bought one and will be installing soon, sometime before next Spring. We get a lot of rain and I’m on a slope so it will be interesting how it fares. I have that garage cover too so I think it will have to go out and confirm it’s pouring before going back to headquarters if I don’t warn it beforehand. I’m hoping it doesn’t require too much babysitting.
