I had some tree branches that I was unable to reach with a conventional chainsaw so I had to buy a pole saw. I was thinking about going the cheap route and buying one from Harbor Freight. However, Prime Days were upon us and so I decided to stick with one of my favorite brands for yard tools: Worx. The good thing is that the Worx WG323 20v Power Share 10 inch Cordless Pole Saw Chain Saw with Auto-Tension still uses the same 20v batteries that we have accumulated from buying many Worx yard care products so I have more than enough batteries and chargers and was able to add one more battery and charger as it came with the pole saw. The Worx WG323 20v Power Share 10 inch Cordless Pole Saw Chain Saw with Auto-Tension is better than your average pole saw in that it can extend to 10', is very durable, and has the chain saw of the pole saw able to be removed to become and used as a lightweight chain saw to cut those branches that don't need the reach of a pole saw. Overall, this was a great buy and I've had nothing but good luck with Worx tools overall. Problem? No clean cuts with the extension pole - you can open a can of worms by introducing a array of deseases by chewing-cuts

The black bolt in the knob on mine was so short that it didn't even portrude from the top of the hole when the knob was fully depressed. Basically, they used the wrong bolt and it wasn't long enough to engage the nut in the chainsaw's handle. YES - I pushed the knob all the way down/in, and YES - the bolt was seated in the bottom of the knob. Subesequently, it came apart and damn near lawn-darted me and self destructed on impact. I can't be the only person who got one like this. FYI to comment readers, there's nowhere to complain on their website.
