Can you cut wood with this? I mean straight cuts. I am planning on making a cable machine and I need to cut the timber down to a certain size. Was thinking about getting a circular saw for this however am in two minds.

Depend on what you have to do If you have to remove the grout between a tile and another, yes, or if you have to make small cuts like a corner, a rectangular hole and so on, but not if you have to make long rip cuts on a lot of tiles...or may be. but very gently May be this would be better: kzbin.info/www/bejne/bn6ofnaudsqZbrM
