BONUS TIP: For some reason I missed an incredibly basic capping tip. If you are capping the enemy base STOP MOVING AROUND. Not only are you reducing your camo, but you are also decreasing your accuracy! Just stay still and pre-aim at the most likely side of approach of the enemy.

Also a good tip, if you catch on fire, just stop and don't move, the fire will will go out faster compared when you would run around.

Tip 60: Try to free up friendly tanks. It's always better to assist another friendly player in destroying an opponent instead of taking on your own enemy. One versus one times two is more risky than two versus one and one idle.

Excellent vids for newer players. Hopefully, there are newer players. The only couple I disagreed with is regarding survival and holding a flank. I've seen a number of games where one or two tanks held off 5 tanks, giving the rest of the team more time. Also, there are instance all the time were a player's timely sacrifice made all the difference in what the other team members could do and often the win. Examples are the one guy in an impossible position for himself, but not only slows down and advance but also is spotting for cross fire. The other is when an autoloader gives up hit points for the break through. These moves are for the team and the win, not for milking stats.

That’s a very good point. I was predominantly focusing on a rule of thumb, though I should have specified tank type. Things like hull-down heavies and holding tds (T110E3 comes to mind as the obvious example) are able to accomplish holding flanks single handedly. But you are entirely correct, some tanks can get away with that. The pushing as a sacrifice is a bit more difficult (with regards to randoms). It’s incredibly difficult to find teammates that will take advantage of the sacrifice (though maybe that’s me just being pessimistic). Thanks for the feedback! Excellent points.

tip 49 Keep your minimap large. for a large number of players it will be the first time they hear about a minimap... not to mention on how to read it

An extra tip for shooting tanks out of render range, ping them on the map with the new ping system and shoot the ping, you can check on tanks.gg what the max shell range is of your tank so you can also know if you're even possible of hitting them

50. You get a camo bonus when staying still. The exceptions are most light tanks AND the O-Ni. (but with the O-Ni its more a case of it being so big that being stationary makes no difference). There are also a few (generally low tier) light tanks that do have worse camo when moving as they are not classified as scouts. I'd be interested to know what determines whether a LT is a scout or not if anyone knows. Even though I know most of these tips and tricks I forget to put many of them into practise and this video is a good reminder. Thanks.

40. I disagree with what you said: You should do that after any battle, not just losing ones. Don't get stuck on it, there will be lots of battles where you only made small and inconsequiental mistakes, but do think about it for a few seconds.

Strongly disagree on the equipment. In any tank you can mount it you want vertical stabilizers. Never go into battle without them. Youre 20% more accurate during every movement you do, your aim time is 20% shorter or more, depending how much you need to actually aim to hit. Due to shorter aiming youre also exposed to the enemy for a short period of time. And of course if you just peek, aim and shoot your reload is also faster due to shooting faster increasing your dpm. Its the by far strongest piece of equipment in any tank. Leave out the gun rammer if you have to. Hitting the target is more important than reloading. Aiming time is so important that during my active time in clan wars a few years back I drove my is3 and is7 both without vents but vert stabs and gun laying drive.

Plot twist: radio operator never gets hit. 20k games into this game and I've NEVER had my radio operator. Light tank: driver and commander are always dead. Medium tank: driver and gunner are always dead. Heavy tank: gunner and commander are always dead. Radio operator literally never dies. EVER.

36. "Radio operator is dead weight"... Doesn't the RO also carry some view range with the Situational Awareness skill? I've found that my view range increased back to normal when I healed the RO

That’s true. When a crew member dies, you lose all of the skills attached to that crew member. So yes, in certain situations, you should revive your radio operator!

Kinda late, but I just got into the game, and I’m about to get the token for a free t6 tech tree tank. Which one should I go for? I played blitz way back when and enjoyed the m4a3e8 but I sucked at that game.

Hmm. So the free tech tree tank is something many people make a mistake with, as they pick the same tank they’ve been grinding towards, despite that being the tank they’re closest to without getting it for free. Instead, I recommend picking something you aren’t going for (I’m pretty sure the tank is free by xp, not credits? If that’s the case this advice is good) For new players, the Russian T-34-85 is always a good option (my personal go-to). Besides that, there’s the German VK 36 01 H, Russian KV-85, etc. The E8 is a nice tank, but the line it leads to is fairly useless as far as META goes. A similar, useful tank line doesn’t really exist, but there’s some premium vehicles that are similar. If you’ve played blitz, you already have a leg-up. Good luck and happy tanking!

Can someone explain me how can i shoot acros the map eith artilery. I can only shoot as far as view range while others can just sit in corner of the map and shoot anywhere they want

It’s dependent upon the Arty. Some Arty have range across the whole map, some don’t. I assume you’re playing a lower tier artillery (most likely a British tier 6 or below), that have much lower range than higher tier Arty. Even the tier 10 British Arty can’t reach across most maps, while all others can.

THE ABSOLUTLY BEST TIP FOR WOT IS just leave off playing it. I just stopped playing a few days ago, after logging in the game after 1 year. I felt the game made me,in a normal quantity, happy But it doesn't give you something to train or learn (i though it was good for being a strategy and action game) Now I'm having the perfect habits,without the 3 hours a day that the game stole me for 4 days
