IS5 is better because not only is it 1/5 of the normal price (but tbf you need to grind clan alot) its gun has same pen as high pen gun but slightly worse dpm than dpm gun on IS6 Edit: IS6 has better armour overall I think and has a smaller lower plate

The first premium tank I got in the game was the IS 6, and I've had an estimated 800 battles with it. However, I just bought the Is 5 tank, from what I've seen, I can say that both tanks are super tanks and I love fighting them. but I care about armor because I like hand-to-hand combat and I'm afraid of anti-tank guns, which is why I prefer the new Is 5.
