Sometimes the best map position is the garage. Had to take Brave Sir Robin as in game name- running away comes naturally

You could have let them poke that hill and blew their turrets off from your side. you drove off and left your teammates in a good map position. truth is you did not know how to fight that position and now everyone else does not too now. You were in the wrong position yourself.

First battle, typical claus blames the VK for moving away from the ridge line, but as soon as you were spotted by the WZ on lake road, they knew the VK was on his own and double rushed him. watch the minimap, they don't come over ridge line mid valley until you take on the WZ. It wouldn't matter where he was in that area he was always outnumbered. The only thing the VK could've really done was fall back into base when you went lake road, but he wouldn't have really known what your intentions were at that point.

A lesson I keep forgetting is not to rely on team mates, hide behind them yes, but assume they're tomatoes otherwise. Sometimes the standard of play in a tier 10 battle might as well be tier 3.

Hey Claus, just something I noticed at 6.40 was getting lit and then relocating. The enemy can see you pull away. I would suggest waiting 10 seconds to become unspotted and then move. The enemy may well stagnate a while longer.

The second game pretty much describes why you cannot go wherever you want. At least when you want to serve your team and win. There are some crucial positions for all the different types of tanks to take to put your team in an advantageous situation. Some of those positions need to be taken very early in the game i.e. by light tanks, some need to be blockes i.e. by heavy tanks.and some need to be covered by tank destroyers. That is map positioning. But you will not find that here. Thats just a fun channel.

About 15:20 in the replay. The fault wasn't from your teammates but yours cuz you didn't check that they were not alone in the middle + FFS dude stop blame! You had info that at least 3 tanks are in the middle outside the wall and you pushed there! After that you complain about your teammates that they didn't pick that area! First check what will do your team after that if it's able push. If you like to push anyway with out checking your map at least do not complain about what your team do!

Very much SteelGutsInTN's philosophy. Be patient and survive, be there at the end and you can make the difference between a win and a loss. What a difference it would make in the game if everyone thought about surviving and more importantly, help each other to survive. Maybe a message from Claus to the VK player in the Lakeville game to stay put might have helped make for an easier victory. Just saying!

I find that switching map positions mid game occasionally helps provided you do so surreptitiously without blundering into hidden dangers while doing so.

i am having another fantastic day ..i just had a game where i fired 5 shots from my scorpion g and i knocked out 1 tank and got hits and it was credited as they happened then at the end i checked my placement and it said 1 shot and no hits no tanks knocked out ..lolllol ..amazing how that happens. i must have filed a complaint on one of "their " players .. 5 games now in a row says at the end no hits even thou i hit them dead center.. oh yeah in that game with 5 shots that didnt happen they even charged me the resupply for them shots that didnt happen

As a WoT noob, map awareness and positioning is a real challenge for me - I just don't know where to go on unfamiliar maps. There are a few maps that are somewhat familiar, but I mostly seem to get destroyed/lose a lot. My highest tier is 6, and I usually get matched against Tier 8s with 3 Artys...It is very difficult to survive a game, let alone do well. Your videos help me to understand the game better. Thank you.

I have been in the game 10 months with about 9K battles. Map Positioning is just now starting to make sense for me. I think it comes with experience. The most important thing (IMO) is looking at the enemy lineup, just as CK mentioned. Best of Luck!

Well I sniped in my Char Futur which some of my teammates didn't like. They reported me after the game and Wargaming banned me for three Days. Wargaming would not provide me with any proof of the "excessive inactive play" they banned me for, even after they did an "exhaustive investigation", Wargaming and their policies in this game are an absolute joke.

...on another note, there is something you are not understanding: you CANNOT "balance" a war game or war machines wtf - IT'S WAR!!- they're not supposed to be balanced, what r they thinking? I know all wargaming is interested in is their bottom line - we all know that! So just "WHAT" r they trying to do? ALL they r doing is making enemies by thinking we are believing that shit. Give me a tank game that has actual tanks that were in ww2 - no upgrades or tiers you have to climb - just like it was - sign me up AND you should keep your "tactical advice" on the start battle screen until the countdown ends and the battle starts please. That sammich they gave you; hindsight 20/20?? mebbi?? mebbi not?? running did produce results. And staying alive is at face value better than killing. If youre alive then you can kill later eh. BUT... Shoulda pulled back to the position you came from apx 15:05 Would have had cover from the pesky Bulldog and still be able to bounche the Standard B and friends, and StandardB/M46 etc would have to push in and eat at least 1 full clip before they reached the position where you stopped the vid. Your team in that position would be able to avoid the sammich and take max 1, perhaps 2 shots from Bulldog-position before they could get to relative safety further down the valley using the strat you ended up using Mebbi..

Can you please help me? Why is it obvious that I am on a dedicated server, with nothing but bots. The tanks all move irratically, I can't hit/damage anything and I cannot form a team with my friend because I can't find him even when he is on.
