First game is a good example of how good spotting can actually make passive players camp. They just stop and shoot rather than moving to get map control using the spotted locations as intel on who on the enemy team is where, and going where. Conversely being spotted early makes enemy passives camp hard to try to avoid being shot. All it takes is for your team to not be morons and play the damn game rather than going "squirrel" and shooting the first thing lit.

The video is very good. It nearly describe all of the scout skills. Here is some opinion for you guys. Light tank's gun usually a weak point on the tank. Beside taking some direct damage by that useless gun, if you see the enemy and shot his track first, you will get a lot of assistance damage. Pz.38 Na is a good scout tank for the beginner because its gun is nearly useless. The beginner can only take some assistance damage by using its speed, size and camo. Most of the time the light tank didn't strike the enemy. But they can call out the meteor rain to the enemy. Talking about the size, if your light tank's size is small enough, you can pull down a tree and stand behind it. It can provide camo just like bush! This can allow you create some dynamic spot point that is unpredictable.

Was team killed yesterday whilst spotting and shooting (double bushing) in my Bat. 12t. The muppet who killed me was sitting so far back that the spotted tanks were not rendering for him. I tried to explain it to him, but he only had 6000 games and an IQ of 3. I look forward to the no friendly fire changes then these arseholes will get so angry they will have to come and try and push you into fire exposing themselves to the enemy, who hopefully will just shoot the buggers. It could become a new meme.

That's great if your team shoots while you have the bad guys lit. I've noticed that some players wait until the enemy fads out then shoot blind or light the enemy themselves, so they don't have to share the HP.

Yes yes and yes, after all if you are so close to the enemy lines, often the majority if your team is unable to shoot the enemies you light and your contribution to the situation is greatly diminished, the classic sui-scout maneouver. I think one of the major exploits of the light tank class is to maximise and use your strengths in lighting up the enemy to rack up assist dmg from as far away as poss, therefore preserving your very poor armour for late game when your flanking opportunities increase and your poor gun becomes usable, simply using you brain while playing wot!

Passive scout on the Proferoka map, at the E1 bush in the American Tier 7 Scorpion , never fire a shot an do 10K assist and zero actual damage for an Ace Tanker and a boat load of other digital trinkets .... Easy as pie, I did it, 3 times

It shouldnt be so easy nowadays, experienced players will blind fire it, I stopped using it because it is so well known, however i have had gr8 Lt games from that position in the past. Plus wheelies often negate your tracked Lt from reaching it unspotted and once spotted you are foched there.

True, it dont work every time, however when it does, its cute as hell, And like any TD, you are VERY team dependent, I just had vision at E1 AFTER an early scout got dead there, and used its deadness to block the "Blind shots" , giving my larger TD's, and SPG's targets that they actually engaged and destroyed..
