Hey the S35 CA is a good tank. Imagine having stock gun with 170 ap pen and 239 apcr pen in a tier 5 battle. You can literally penetrate every single tier 5 to 6 frontally and it's pretty mobile so you can get into the good sniping spots fast. but you have no armor but the stock gun itself pretty much makes the vehicle good. But the top gun is trash with only 135 ap pen and 175 apcr pen so you should never use that gun.

I am french too and i really think it's a shame that these tanks are so bad, like, it's so hard to carry because u need pramo to pen heavys normally (otherwise u can only beat theme 1v1 if u manage to make it work) The t6 to t8 heavys are still good but the tier 9 is just not playable stock so u absolutely need free xp to get the gun. And the tds... the t5 has a rly good gun but the others (till tier 9), just meh Worst line to grind at first, i recommended to all of u out there to have already grinded for at least 2 or 3 t10s ro consider grinding french tech tree. I know how it feels my first t10 was the batchat

Pantoufleee, if u are having hiccup, just take a tea spoon of white sugar and drink it with water. Don't eat the sugar tho, just swallow it. It will cure the hiccup

A couple things. When Pantouf says he doesn’t know what the French lights are missing but it is something; the thing he is thinking of is gun depression and elevation: mainly elevation. It makes the tanks harder to use as you cant back yourself up a hill to create artificial gun gun depression as your range of motion before you hit max gun elevation isn’t very much. Also: For hiccups try pickles. None of the other tactics you find on the internet such as standing upside down or holding your breath work nearly as quickly or reliably as pickles (even if they do work). The vinegar gets rid of them very quick. Also the first line I grinded in blitz was the fv215b 183 line. Except I didn’t use the Alecto to get there (I played Alecto later). I went from the Churchill 1 up to Churchill GC (yes I like to suffer) and then in to at 7, AT15, tortoise and then death star.

I play both british TD lines at the same time. It's much easier that way, because on the FV 4005 line most stock guns are top guns on the FV215b 183 line. For example the Conway's stock gun is the top gun on the Tortoise just by researching the Conway you don't have to research the gun on the Tortoise. It makes the line a lot easier.

I think the Line of leo 1 coming from Ru 251 is harder than foch 155 or amx 50b Line.. sp 1c, ru 251, leo pta and leo 1 they not allow you to make any mistake, and the grind of pta on stock is one of the most painful on tier 9

I disagree with the french lights (and I’ve only got ~3000 battles). I like the ELC, the 12t was okay, the 75 is one of my favourite tier 7s, if not one of my favourite tanks in the game, the 90 is okay, starting to like it, and haven’t unlocked B-C yet. They’re hard to carry with, but they are amazing for support. The 13 75 has awesome speed and mobility, a great gun with good reload, and a strip of armour that’s saved me multiple times.

I only have the amx 13 75, but I literally hated the 12t. Not so fast ( compared to Vk or other light tanks he’s relatively slow), no armour, 1 or 2 shotted by heavy tanks, really slow reloading ( the damage is ok, 120 by shell is quite good at least), and WORST depression and elevation in the game, combined with low camo, you have to expose yourself to shoot 1 time, wait 2s, shoot again, etc, making you a really good target with not so much hp...

also. the IS-4 line is not a newbie friendly line. the armor profile takes alot of work to bounce from the KV-1 to the KV-4. And as for what to do with the french line i'd say with the Foch 155 stay back behind and snipe. And for the AMX 50 B go mid and play as mid support and unload your clip in your enemies while they're reloading. And for the Batchat that tank is truely meant to flank with other meds and circle the heavies and td's. this is all of course my opinion, there are several other ways you can play the french line.

And I feel your pain on the Japanese line. The STA-1 to the STB was agonizing. However, personally I loved the Chi-To and the Chi Ri. I flew through those cause I play the auto loaders well. I also do well with the French lights. But the 13-90 was painful. Just got to the Tier 9 Bat Chat and feels much better.

not sure if this helps, but when I have hiccups, hold your breath, (pinch nose so no air gets out) Swallow, count to 10 swallow, another ten seconds, and swallow again Idkw but it usually gets rid of them

I think French lights feel underpowered since the clip reload mechanic is overall weaker than the autoreload on Pan-Euros (which you can simply use in single-shot mode). Since Blitz maps are small, you can't always run far enough to reload your clip, especially if you're in a carry situation in a supremacy match.
