With this tank the 100mm gun is the way to do it. It’s not the same as the other Soviet style heavies and has a more defined role. I play it either as a big armour profile soaking up the damage with the mediums or as a heavy tank holds a corner while my other heavies do the pushing and having a high rate of fire is just better for both.

Playing the WZ-110 with the 122 is like playing the cent 7/1 with the heat gun. It’s not horrible and it can work but you remove everything that makes the tank special; you could’ve had that same result on faust in any other 122mm Russian heavy. The 100mm on the WZ-110 with that amazing DPM makes the tank different and better

Fun fact: This gun's performance is somewhat similar to the 122m D-2-5T the top gun on the KV-1S. This already makes the tank worse than IS-1. Even worse is that on WoT PC, the IS-2 *has* the D-25T and not here for some reason. The IS-2 needs it.

No kidding. The IS-2 the Chinese get is garbage. And the Soviets gave them the full tanks to use in the Korean War so there’s no reason why employing a D-25T would be a bad idea, even if there’s already a premium tank IS-2 with it.

I actually tried the top gun on the Chinese is-2. Max performance was 2.8 k damage with a fortune enough battle and avg. game DMG was like 1k-1.5k.

I have the tank maxed the speed is so bad and the armor isn’t even that good for its speed, they should buff the armor, gun is decent but holy, the speed/traverse is bad but that’s normal for chinese heavies but at least make the armor good.

I prefer the medium tank line but if you research the guns and engines on either the Chinese mediums are heavies you will complete most of the Chinese tank grind as most Chinese medium and heavy tanks have the same gun and engine which is kinda convenient tbh

I always liked the Wz-110 for its armor profile, decent mobility and its 100mm gun could have a chance with dealing with mediums but mounting the 122mm gun on this tank makes it just like a normal 122mm and at a tier it’s in that has a lot of 122mm guns it’s kinda boring...

I can tell you that even with premium ammo none of the tier 6 and only two of the tier 8 tanks I have fought it with could pen it at all. Like this tank is cherry red with no actual penatratable surfaces under any situation aside from surprise buttsex, or if you can somehow fire into the bottom plate *from below*. Firing at the bottom plate from level means ricochet after ricochet. I just spent a dozen shots of truly brilliant poke and shoot, best I can think of ever doing, flawless... Not ONE PENETRATION. Not one. Might as well have been a panzer 2 trying to kill a maus. I get that they want Chinese market share, mmmmmoney.... but seriously, are ethnic Chinese players going to be attracted by a age that says 'we figure all you want is an unfair advantage'? Or maybe I am the only guy on earth with an annihilator and a smasher in my sold tanks garage with zero games on them. Fuck tanks like this.
