Tip for Waterwalking: Makro it into your mount keybind. If you're moving, you can't mount up, so you'll just buff yourself with it instead. In the situation where you mentioned you didn't have it on your bar, you were jumping into water anyways; with this you'd have dismountet and had the buff on you before even landing. It also makes you reapply it every time you mount up without loosing time because your mount isn't on gcd; so you get a little bit of dispell protection "junk" on your bar. It's a very minor thing, but sooner or later it'll save your butt :) other than that nitpick, great stuff.

I've been playing enh shaman for a while and in later patches, even with 1.1k res, you simply die in 1 - 2 hits from a dk or pally lol Sadly the absorb from the totem is a fixed amount so by the time people get gear (and the exp goes on) it will get weaker and weaker . With the absurd amounts of arpen in gear You'll be using 1h / shield againts most mele clases and trying to kite the best you can (I mean yes thats how shaman goes) but since you lack a panic button like other clases, unless you have 5 ms stacks for a quick hex or heal, You die. Rogues and druids kill You in 2 seconds if You don't have a shield while they open on you, no matter if you use shamanistic Fury. If you manage to survive long enough to get kidney'd and use trinket you'll be about 20% hp with no ms charges, no totems (dispelling/earthskin), no bitches, leaving you the only option of fspirits which is easily countered with trinket. Againts ranged/caster is actually pretty fun and with proper grounding totem, wind shear, dispell, frost shock, earthbinding totem waving (ye a lot of shit to cast) it feels really good to 1v1. Hunter kinda fuck you with the silence but oh well, try to stay over his ass all the time and hex his pet. Overall it feels like enh shaman lacks way to much on the def side compared to ele/resto and even more paired against other melee classes. Maybe if we had something closer to astral shifting from the ele tree it could be better. I know this is a fucking wall of text, but I felt like warning people that want to try shaman for the first time. It's not easy, it's really not, takes a lot of practice, running for your life, reading your opponent's mind, having luck with dispells/wf and a little bit of masochism, but when you fight it feels super fun and rewarding. Things might be different on the oficial release tho, I've been testing my sham on different seasons and pservers (numbers might not be the same as the og lk) mainly on WMane.

You nailed it! I'm fully geared enh shaman with enchants gems etc 1k resil and I'm getting wrecked switching back to ELE I love enh but not feasible

yeah go ele enh just lacks compared to ele in everyway BG,Arena, open world. I love Enh and all but you get shit on. Enh is really only good in a 3s comp if you have good teammates. Nothing feels worse then sitting in bis gear and weps 1k resil and getting smashed by dks warrs druid rogs feels so bad. ele you can 1v2 root them created distance and then nuke em heal up then burst again

@@BK_1993 enh is so trash compared to ele, its insane. Just on phase 1 of wotlk classic, on bgs, i got hit from lava burst for like 7-9k dmg (have overall 19k HP), and when i hit, i see melee crits like 400-900 (!CRIT!). Its just so sad, im very close to delete this garbage character

The toolkit is awesome but the damage seems really lackluster compared to TBC especially considering the increased lvl 80 health pool.

Enhance was the first class in WOTLK that allowed me to experience my first1v2 arena win. Even the rogue that was with me wanted to pay me gold because he felt like I was carrying him, but I told him not to worry about it because we were having fun and allowed me to try out my first arena as a shaman.

It does an insane amount of burst damage, but they're squishy. If paired with the right 3rd, they can do really well in 3s!

If you have tbc toon max and you have nothing to do, I suggest doing some warmane wotlk pvp if it's your thing. Get ahead of the curve when it actually comes out so to speak. And it's fun of course :)

I don't see any high rank shamans with lava lash. I'm still learning but I think it's partly because you use frost on offhand & partly cause you don't really have the global for it with all the purge spamming in arena. Good video nonetheless.

Enhancement shamans are probably the funniest spec to play in wotlk, they're awesome, but they're not top tier at all both in pve and pvp unfortunately, you have to try harder than other classes to reach the same result. Still worth maining though, just something to be aware of ^^

Shamans are good in PVP, but really need skill to play, in PvE you'd be a healer, Enh is not that good in PvE neither is Ele, spellhance is great in PVE, but needs alot of gear.
