19:38 As someone who played through tbc I can confirm tremor totem just fails to tick a lot of the time. Almost lost my keyboard spamming tremor so hard trying to break people out of fears when they're literally right next to me... Good to have you back, may god help us trying to stay sane while LB weaving.

Tremor doesn't tick when it comes out. For an example, dbm tells you when Archimonde's fear is off cooldown. I would drop tremor when dbm said 1 second until fear is off cooldown. 90% of the time Archimonde would fear and the first tremor tick would come, and my party would be feared for a fraction of a second. It would basically instantly break the fear. For another example, fears that give the victim a speed boost like in Slave Pens from the rays the victim will outrange the totem do to them running out of the range because of the speed boost. Also remember some fears are actually horrifies (warlock death coil) and tremor doesn't break that. I have an addon called Totem Timers that shows when ticking totems will tick. That addon is helpful for knowing when tremor and fire totems will tick.

@@TheChickenrunnah entirely incorrect, within 1 batch cycle and the totem GCD is 1s, the chance of clippping this cyle by recasting the tremor is literally 0. The reason why you have such problems is Archimonde simply doesn't cast his fear on an actual timer. it's an AI priority spell meaning that the DBM timer is for the ability being ABLE to be cast, not when the ability WILL cast. This is plain and simple bugged coding where the tremor doesn't pulse correctly, it also commonly only breaks 1 person out of the group despite both people being clearly ontop of the totem. I have also ran a full length 10s fear in circles in a corner ~10 yards away from a tremor continues to fail pulse for the entire duration of the fear without being recast. tl;dr You are wrong, the fat controller laughed. Source: about 2000 games of arena and got a 1900 as a meme comp in OCE and I played enough in vanilla to get HWL I've had a few tremor bugged pulses to figure out exactly what's wrong with this shit lol.

Taking the plunge and giving enhance a go after watching your video, was put off originally by all this talk of spellhance so thank you for breaking it down. Quick question though on one of your points. I keep seeing on most guides to use the water shield minor glyph but the same guides also saying we use lightning shield, not water?

This was a great video. The only thing I would add is if you don't need IMP WF totem I personally take 3/3 imp shields especially in tier 7 I find lighting shield procs do really good damage and the tier set 2 piece bonus amplifies that even more so. I just the 2 points from IMP WF totem and one out of Ancestral Knowledge and put them into imp shields. For dungeons/solo/10 mans obv you most likely are gonna want IMP WF totem. I also run Fire Nova glyph instead of Feral Spirit glyph. It sims higher for me both aoe and single target and having a 3 second fire nova just makes my rotation feel a lot better to me personally. But there is lots of variance in enhance in wotlk so do whatever you enjoy/sims the best for you. I may run Feral Spirit glyph in a later phase but I will replace Stormstrike glyph most likely and leave fire nova glyph but they are all good.

Hey Holder, thanks for the great guide. Just finished lvling my enhance and enjoyed it so much that I'm gonna be maining it for wrath, so glad I found this great guide! I do have one question with the talent build, is it worth leaving points out of Dual Wield Spec and put them into other talents such as improved shield, or maxing out improved SS if I have a lot of hit from gear? The only thing it says it does is just improve hit chance, so I wasn't sure about that. Edit: I should also mention that my enhance is a draenei so I have another 1% hit from the racial

I apologize if my question is dumb but, in your video you explained, in excellent detail, that you use LB or CL on 3 or 4 stacks of Maelstrom, so as not to waste any potential Maelstrom stacks. But I've noticed that without the WF MH, in other words when playing spellhance, that's a lot less likely to happen. Would you still recommend using LB/CL at 3 stacks, or is it better to wait till 5?

question is fine my dude. it’s always more dps to weave at 3/4 vs 5. When you hit 5 it becomes your #1 priority to use LB/CL to build more stacks.

2h is mainly for the memes and does significantly less damage. The main thing you CAN do with 2h is weave lava burst though so thats fun.

Hi, i played the whole time of my shaman career as a resto, didnt know nothing about enhancement, your videos helped a lot! But 1 Thing beside my reaction time in playing whack a Mole ;) is my weapons sync, i tried your makro over and over again, if i dont Hammer it the right amount of times my char just stops attacking, the fucking idiot just stands still like a total moron ;D Seriously, if I press it once, it just doesn't do anything anymore, if I press it again I'm asynchronous again so i have to penetrate the button like an insane till i am lucky, what am I doing wrong?

The imbue doesn’t share an internal cooldown between different ranks so if you’re using double flame tongue you would use two different ranks with the max rank being on your offhand

@@Holderhek flametongue has 100% proc chance? So by using a lower rank, me and probably alot of other people see it as getting less spellpower and dealing less damage on each hit. You keep answering with something about old school windfury ICD, which tells me/us nothing. I'd really like to understand tho 😊

"Flametongue Weapon (FT) now also increases your spell power by 211 (and spell crit by 2% with glyph). This new effect (and the glyph crit) stack, meaning you can have double if both MH and OH have this imbue. An odd thing about FT is that it has a 0s ICD that is not shared between ranks. This means that if both of your weapons have Rank 10 FT (FT10) on them, only one of them will proc when you cast SS, despite the spell having a 100% proc rate. As such, when you use FT/FT, what you will use is FT9/FT10; i.e. you will downrank the FT on your MH. (Lava Lash procs FT, so you want the max rank FT to be on OH.) Despite FT9 doing 7% less damage and providing 15 less SP than FT10, doing this downranking will result in a noticeable DPS increase!"

Okey, just tried this out, briefly.. but noticed the increased procs. But! The difference in spellpower is 30, and some fire damage Vs getting 1 extra flametongue proc every 8 seconds. Now tat doesn't seem like alot, or am I wrong about something?

It has no ICD between ranks like old school tbc windfury. Fire ele gets snapshotted so you can use a pre-pop set but this prio is the typical max dps.

Gosh this is so hard.. Currently at 4200 gs, doing around 5-6k DPS in raids. I do have Calamity's grasp from LK, but do you reckon i should get the spellweapon from AH? (Done naxx25 several times, Wrath Strike doesnt exist for me). People are expecting me to do atleast 7-8k, and i'm so far away from there. Lovely class to play, but it's hard sometimes x)

no one even has wraith strike yet.. spellhance is using titansteel spellblade and the badge offhand and absolutely nuking single target and aoe. I was doing 6k ST 9k aoe in a regular heroic dungeon group yesterday. I don't know why enhancement players are getting so salty about an alternative playstyle working. It's not like regearing for phase 2 after you have raids on farm is that difficult

dont play a shaman unless its its to heal as resto in raids or pvp as elemental wrath is when enhancement went down the drain and each expansion after wrath.elemental is a pvp god in wrath and it gets better each expansion after. there will be only one raid spot in most guilds for shamans and thats likely resto your future as enhance is 5/10 man pugs or gdkps and even elemental was looked over in raids.i hope you have a lot of gold to pay for those gdkps if you play enhancement. pvp wise enhancement is bad and squishy af you will die in a stun while elemental was a pvp lava burst god.just re roll to a frost dk is a better version of enhance in plate.

I saw it said in one of those discord posts if you have identical speed weapons you don't need to use that gay ass sync macro, but then you go on to explain it's use. So is this true or not when the discod post @27:47 says "Having same speed weapons means you won't have to use the sync macro to keep your swings in sync, so it's highly advised to have same speed weapons"? Frankly not willing to endure another expansion futzing around with that wack ass macro especially if it's not going to provide a significant DPS gain percentage wise, there's already enough shit to worry about for this spec.
