It appears that at some point in the last year of Wrath Classic they made the Converted Heroes in the 78-80 spot completely immune to frost mage slow and root effects.

The mobs in the level 78-80 part cannot be slowed or frozen. Not sure how it's working on your side. Still searching for a mob in that area to grind on

78-80 spot 1 is obsolite ! Now all cretures have Lich BUFF - its blocking freez and other chill effects , so you wont kyte them !

Hello. Thanks for the good video. Why you did not pick up 3 points of talent in World in Flames in the tree of fire - increases the critical strike chance including Blizzard by 6%? This is a lot and Blizzard in WotLK critique.

The talents he showed are for level 70, you can easily grab those talents also after leveling past 70

blizzard doesn't need more crit chance because you'll be getting fingers of frost nearly every tick

you said the talent spell impact reduces the coast of arcane explosion and cone of cold but the talent reads it only increases the damage? can you explain that?

I know it's probably the most efficient method, but why would you take arcane meditation over fingers of frost if you already have arcane concentration which will render virtually every blizzard a free cast?

No Winter's chill is troll. It is procced by frost damage and increases crit by 5% (5 stacks) so Frost nova and 4 ticks of blizzard increases crit of all further frost damage by 5% on all targets. This is vastly superior to frost channeling or imp cone of cold

Winters chill is a raid talent. it is never needed for aoe farming

Blizzard cant crit which is your main spell for AOE farming so WC isnt needed.

Do you think that AoE lvling is still quicker at WOTLK than questing? Another question is also if AoE lvling would not hurt reputation/important chains, I do not remember that good enough...

I think you should mix aoe leveling with questing :) You can easily grind reputation with the different tabards from each faction. But AOE leveling is for sure not the best thing to do only

@@kalebd.l8637 You have to do UK 1 pulls which will provide you with shy of 1mil xp/h. For the time left you have to go out and grind or do quests. At 77 you go solo gun drak as frost, but this xp farm is extremely hard you need nature resistance gear...

You missed one of the best spots to AoE farm early on mate. Howling Fjord 78, 74. killing those seals, easy 15 mob pull raking in 30-40k xp per pull (rested)

Do UK as fire 70-76, it's way more xp xD. All you need is zanza or if you don't want to spend the 5 minutes going to buy it every 4 hours, than glyph of blink and rocket boots are enough...

Ive been following this series on my first time mage in classic. Trying to catch my buddy who is lvl 73-74. Im 46 now but is AoE still considered the best? My gear is descent but nothing amazing. Just curious what you think about leveling with wotlk talents but still in classic content? What do you think is fastest and any tips?

with relics it's really fast, try to find spots that have expensive items on AH for selling later, and my advice is that not follow the guide 100%, always play with your talent tree.

3 pulls = 11 minutes but it's like really easy. 1 pull takes around 6-7min, but there is a high risk. I'd recommend the 3 pulls into 5 runs an hour + a 5-6 min chill time, it's still just shy of 1 mil xp per hour.

Glyphs for aoe farming are kind of self-explanatory. Frost Nova and Evocation are the only glyphs worth taking and even then they’re pretty worthless themselves. They just make it easier for bad players to pull a little more efficiently.

This is not going to be fast at all when WotLK hits. You're gonna have to wait at least 3-6 months before these mobs are left alone sufficiently enough for it to be faster than normal questing, lol.
