They could do a Winter Olympics along with the rest of New England. Boston has the facilities for the arena sports and Vermont and New Hampshire can do the Mountain sports.

Bostonians worked very hard to stop an Olympics when we were seen as a city with a good shot. Now the MBTA has fallen apart and there's little evidence it can get better anytime soon. We'd be far from a good shot at this point. We don't need it, we won't want it, and there are huge improvements that need to be made before we would be equipped to handle it. There are worse cities that have gotten it, but most of them are badly corrupt in autocratic countries that were willing to spend tens of billions in ways that benefitted residents very little if at all.

We can barely have bike lanes in Boston. Never mind the Olympics. Also if you don’t think some of those politicians, including the mayor are not corrupt, you’re crazy. A bunch of that money. If we were to get the Olympics would go in their pockets. They are are politicians. They are all corrupt.
