I think we had better say and use would when something has happened cause it give a good and some sense. Casue the situation has happened so it reall doesn't amke any sense to use will cuae the question was asked in past.(he asked will you got go market) no man there is no sense cause the actull movement has happened and i reall don't understand what direct and indirect its just a vague for me. But i don under that if i have to repeat the whole words what someone just said to me so i have to be the one and have to say for intance - he said to me (or said me) i will beat you. (Look i use his whole words even i use i to define him that's why i used will and if i say i he said he would beat me.(so i m just using my tone and manipulating the words in my tone and then saying so the waords must be - he said that(or without that) he would beat me.

Why and how is will used in direct and indirect speech? When you hve to repeat the whole scenario what other person said then we use his/her whole words and the. Report then we use will if we are just repeating the whole scenario on his/her words just saying what he said to us then use would. For instance - she said to me - I will kill you. (Look I used i just to refer him/her i repeated her/him whole words what she/he exactly said to me. For instance- she said that she would kill me. (How I just said I what I was said I didn't repeat the whole words I mean I repeated but her whole actual line. Just I manipulate words in my language then I would use would.
